Will you be adding any new levels to this hack instead of only remaking SMB1? It'd be a nice touch, especially to add the Lost Levels.

You people from workshop managed to kill the smw hacking. There are only a few real hackers left, and with time, if the wrkshop don't die (undoubtful as we can see that it already is), there won't be hackers anymore.

2: I don't understand this.

And lastly: If a hack has good level design, you're a good hacker. If a hack has good graphics, you're a decent hacker. If it has both... you know

1: I did word this poorly. If you don't like how KT15X did his rips, yet you still want those GFX... You could just modify the palette or rip it yourself.

2: I didn't understand this.

Knuck claims that "if you use the workshop, you're not a real hacker"

"If you rip off of someone else's hack, you're not a real hacker." is what he should have said.

And, as long as your status bar has black outlined text and doesn't use colors that are TOO similar to the BG... the status bar is okay. Hell, sometimes that's the only color I've changed!

Ack. I do admit I'm lazy when it comes to enemies, though. Can't use the rex as I have a goal sphere in this first level

All you have are pipes with pirahna plants.

There are some (not many though) gfx issues as well. There are lots of points in the level where you just walk around doing nothing.
The piranah plant going downward has a black sqaure for a body.
Ugh... I forgot to fix this.

plus the smb3-goal thing at the end of the first level is a squished rex.
Haven't gotten the ? sphere GFX into this yet.

One last thing, the background in the second level (underground one) is conflicting with the forground (same-ish colors)
Direct SMB2 rip. :\ I do plan to darken it a bit, though

I say lengthen the levels, add more enemies, and darken the background of the second level. Thats just starting suggestions though.
Lengthen the levels I've tried to make the levels extend to screen 0F.



Davis: "4-up Moonshroom." :lol: I don't know WHY I left the moon there anyway...

Level 2 was mainly a test level anyway. :\ I'm definitely going to redo this one.

I remember playing one of his quests before too... I liked it a lot for a classic quest.

I purposely modified the status bar, Smallhacker... It's only a color change of "MARIO" anyway...

Thank you, BMF. After all, this is about my hack and not an argument over ASM(I didn't bother to read the argument)...

I also uploaded my fixed version. Level 1 has no more bugs or 4-ups.
