Well... you could have just turned off the table marqueeing... I think that's what caused a lot of the breakage.

Its a Blackout Level.You can even Enable and Disable the Score you Have.


Hm... Doesn't look craptastic like other hacks I've seen, just a bit bland.

And un-blacken the ground... Maybe just darkening the level could work pretty well for a dark theme.
