Please keep it to PM, peter! I don't have anything against you, but I'm just afraid this is going to be closed.

MY view is:

You can copyright what you've changed in a hack. (Such as copyrighting the levels and GFX IF THEY'RE NOT RIPPED FROM ANOTHER GAME OR SOMEONE ELSE.)

However, you CAN'T copyright the things that are unchanged OR RIPPED.

If I were to place copyrights on SMW Revisited...

If you want the SMB-style lava, just enable Layer Priority, set it to act like tile 25, and make sure there's a gap underneath it.

with SMB3 style... you have to make the top tile of the lava an instant-death block.
