Imoto (as seen in my 3D shooter Unkillable and yes, she -is- designed after our very own KawaiiImoto).

First, I rendered her in Poser. Then I shrunk her down to the size she is here, and then I traced her.

It's what Poser was originally meant for, in a way.

Did you know that you can add an extra DIV in the sidebar, or maybe in a strip down the bottom? It keeps the info and links and whatnot out of the post.

EliteMap has a block editor. I never finished it, but it gets the job done. Ctrl+click in the tileset.

Both require the creation of a new map/tileset header with proper pointers. It's very complicated to explain when you just got out of bed like me. For tilesets, you'll want the raw 8x8 data precompressed and inserted, and have the header point there. Maps are a wee bit more complicated header-wise. You'd have to figure out how to expand the header table and add a new bank for your own use.

For short, dream on and hope somebody will make a tool for it.

Also: areas == maps.
