Actually, I think it'd be pretty damn cool if we got together and sorta made an Acmlm's online gaming group. We could play Starcraft on the weekends or something.

Of course, not necessarily Starcraft, it entirely depends on what games we've got.

So... What games do you have?

Rules:
- All maps used will be official Blizzard maps included in the latest version of the game
- We will attempt to balance the teams in the best interest of fairness and fun
- No hacks, programs, scripts, bug/exploit abuse, or anything else that could be considered "Cheating"
- Nothing will be considered "cheap" - All units, abilities, and upgrades are fair game
- If you are about to die, say "I concede" to all players to give up and not be destroyed
- Once you've given up, you can watch, but can't rebuild

I'm starting to see some good possibilities already

The online games that I own and would suggest to anyone:

Battlefield 1942
Warcraft III
Starcraft
Unreal Tournament
Quake 3
Half-Life and the various mods for it (Counter-Strike, Natural Selection, Day of Defeat)

If there's a huge and overwhelming want to play one of the games not on that list, I'll probably just run out and buy myself a copy of it.

I've played it two-player. Seemed pretty fun. Can't find two more people with GBA's and link cables, which is the game's first and foremost drawback. Sure, it's fun, but you have to adjust your schedule to play it to the point where you have to seriously evaluate if the game is worth it or not.

Colleen, if you mean to say that the CD keys you have are generated or in any way not straight from the back of a War III cd case, they won't work online

I'm thinking about scheduling a game of Sarcraft at the moment, since that seems to be pretty popular. What do you guys think? Yea or nay?

EDIT: Or we could consider Havok's idea...

I've got all eight endings. Hard sub-2-hour 100% is a bitch, as is Hard 15%

It's one of the best games in recent history, although the smashing hit that is Ninja Gaiden is drawing me away from it.

Unless someone objects, I think it's reasonable to plan to game with Starcraft sometime in the afternoon next wednesday. I guess we could start at, say.... 8PM EST? Any objections?

We wouldn't be playing Starcraft all the time, we can certainly give the other games a spin, but Starcraft seems to have a majority right now.

Yeah, 500 or 1000 should be the limit for a little while, at least until people get thier post counts up again. Hell, I don't even see why we have the limit in the first place, but that's just me.
