I don't see why Trapster would be banned, he never breaks the rules, and he doesn't go out of his way to be annoying like Aioria.

I've done meditation in conjuction with Tai Chi Ch'uan (or just Tai Chi), and the movements are considered meditation in movement. But I also have done meditation as a way to increase my awareness around me. Things like just trying to wipe my mind of all conscious thought whatsoever, or trying to sense without seeing.

This man is not sane if he thinks Al Quaeda can get his kids back for him...

But yeah he is a traitor, 15 years seems a little unsafe. Life in prison

Well he clearly hasn't joined for that sole purpose, it's just that it's a general breach of internet etiquette to make threads about your own board on someone else's. In that regard the FAQ is vague.

As if there wasn't enough misinformation on the internet. Most of what I looked at wasn't very funny. I guess that's what happens when you let lies run wild.

I feel ya about the bus driver thing man. There used to be this one bus driver in my college town that wouldn't let you in with a popcan in your hand. One time I ran to catch up with a bus that was about to leave and my friend was trailing behind me. Keep in mind that there was absolutely nobody else on this bus, and it was summer in a college town so speed is not a priority for this driver.

I reached him just before he was about to pull out, and he wouldn't let me in b/c I had a pop I had just bought. So I dumped it out right in front of him, and he started driving off. I pounded on the door b/c I was starting to get pissed. Then he acted like he wouldn't let me throw away my popcan in his trashcan that is for PUBLIC use. So I said, "You're asking me to litter, you asshole?" So I walked in anyways and threw the can in his waste basket. By then my friend had caught up to me and she wasn't sure why I was so irritated. As we were trying to find our seats the asshole floored the gas and we nearly fell over. The guy has been fired like three times from that busing organization.

Why do they hire such assholes for jobs where you need people people?

I think there is a difference between rehabilitating someone who has committed a normal crime, such as robbery or drug dealing, and trying to rehabilitating an enemy of the state.

I was not talking about political action. Is the political action you speak of legal in your country? You said it utilizes a candian institution, so how illegal could it be...

My comment was meant for people who wish to physically harm/maim/kill our citizens or provide physical means to those who wish to.

You certainly can... but you would need to do an assembly hack to do so. But to do so you would need to learn a bit of 6502 assembly. I'll let the NES vets bring up links to those, since I don't do NES, just SNES.

Find an NES debugger, such as FCEUDX (spelling?) and try to locate the variable (i.e. memory location) that controls which character you start the stage as. Make sure it is set to Toad by default. You would also need to reroute the code that brings you to the select screen to skip it, so it goes directly to the stage (1-1, 1-2, 1-3, etc...)

Yes, much like Space Rangers, it reminds me of crappy food, like microwave pot pie pizza. Why? b/c all the above give me the sensation of heartbearn when I think about them.

*sigh* so sue me I didn't catch that. Almost no one I've met hacks that version. And I believe Yoronsuku is a girl. Yes I know lots of boys like to pretend they're girls on this board, but this I'm pretty sure of. So yeah I can help with learning ASM (assembly) but don't expect us to do the hack for you.

This does not "break the rules of Algebra". You see stuff like this all the time. However, Graviteh's first line ".999... =1" is not necessary in the proof, since that would be assuming what you wish to prove.

And the stuff about proving 1 + 1 is actually necessary b/c you need a formal system to describe something. Mathematicians don't deal in "Well it seems this way so we'll just say it's true." Rather than putting it in terms of addition, it characterizes the integers in terms of a "successor function", a very important concept in advanced math. Specifically it employs the Peano axioms (when you use them it's called playing the Peano.)

Also, .99999... = 1 b/c if you had a sequence .9, .99, .999, .9999, ... this is a monotone increasing sequence with supremum = 1, hence it converges to 1.

I believe in Star Wars they say "Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."

So yeah it's already blowed up. Unless it's all about the remembrance now. The new planet is in this galaxy after all.

Yes we can. Just pick a different base. The problem of 1/3 being repeating is relative to the fact that 3 is coprime with 10. We use base 10, that is the problem. But in any base system you fill find numbers that share no factors with the base.

e.g. in base 3, the representation for 10 is 101. ( 9 + 0*3 + 1). And the representation for 3 is 10. so 10/3 would be represented as 10.1. Notice, no repeating representation.

And never call math an inexact science. It is the most exact science you will ever find. You cannot disprove known results in math, but you can disprove theories in physics, chemistry, biology, etc, if you find the proper evidence.
