As I was driving my date to prom 3 years ago we saw a place being broken into and cops surrounding the place carrying shotguns. Maybe they had a hard time paying for prom too... |

That's a lot of crap to go down in one life time Kario. I guess the worst part of my family life is my brother who is now heavily into drugs, but that's about it, thank God. Everyone else in the fam is a straightedger more or less. |

In the words of Denis Leary: "N, small y, big fuckin Q! - NyQuil!" |
If you don't like sleeping pills and you want to sleep a good 8-9 hours, take some nyquil and I'll bet you'll be asleep in about 10 minutes. Just don't get addicted :p. I don't think its narcotic though.

In recent years I've shifted away from being religious simply because I don't trust religion. Constraining my own behavior based literally on "leaps of faith" just doesn't seem like a good idea. It's not that I wish to analyze the world relativistically, that is that good and evil are relative, but rather that it seems to me that religion is used to control people. Or should I say, it is a process whereby people allow themselves to be controlled. |
The fact that there are several very rich religions out there already seems to tell me that an axomatic approach to religion fails everytime, because people can't (or won't) agree on fundamental principles. Take the abortion situation for example. I'm sure if we got right to the core of it, most of us would probably argue that abortion is a contemptible and evil practice. On the other hand, pro-choice people view the matter as a matter of liberality of the body, and a woman's right to choose. So in essence their opposing arguments aren't strictly antithesis, because they are based on different principles. One favors the rights of a child, the other favors the rights of the mother. Even still, one can approach the issue from a practicality standpoint. Does God want me to raise a child in this world if I can't pay to support him? What good would that do? Or if you take a platonic (forms) approach, killing the baby doesn't kill its soul, as it can be reborn later. Hence, it's a jumbled pile of crap . (restricted) |

I can't say for sure, but these ads could be effective on the somewhat computer illiterate. (stupid ads for stupid people I guess) I don't find them humerous anymore, just damn annoying. |

I hate any class with excessive lecture or paper writing. Give me math, language, or computers and I'm set. |

I like the ones that tell me my IP address and try to scare me with that. Then they assert that my comp has "indecent content that could hurt my reputation", when in fact I'm on a university lab computer whose files are wiped every two days. |

Eh, prom was boring and the dj sucked. Bout the only thing I got that was good out of it was this sweet drinking glass and a meal by a professional chef beforehand. I was out with people I usually saw in an academic setting and it was really disgusting to see them acting so promiscuously at prom. |

I don't consider myself an emulamer but I still don't want to see intros in roms I find on the net. For one thing, if I'm going to hack that ROM, that's just more shit for me have to look at. I always sort of looked at intros in roms as "showing off" and I don't really have any patience for that. Make a real game if you want to show off. |

Problem is, in America you can't drink at that age. In fact, they try to get you to sign forms saying that you won't drink that night... it's called "prom promise" = load of crap |

I used to try and get a burnt copy of FF7 to work on a Win2K platform with epsxe, and I can't remember what was wrong, but I spent about 3 Sundays in a row (4 hours each) to no avail and had to do something else. |

I'm telling ya man, the NyQuil will be your salvation. It's what $5 for 10 or so doses? |
Sometimes if you're overstressed you can't sleep because you're worried you will sleep too long and not get done the things you have to do. That's my problem anyways. Just let go for a bit...

BSOD is never a welcome sign. Older Mac users, though, may remember the dreaded fatal errors - bomb dialogues. System 7.5 was certainly not that stable after sitting on the HD for a year. |

REP #31 tells us to set to zero three bits of the status register P: |
#31: 0011 0001, therefore, the M,X, and C flags are reset by this instruction. To know how I derived this you need to check your docs for the P register layout. I don't know all the positions off the top of my head, but M,X, and C come up so frequently I have the memorized since a long time ago. The effect of this is to make the A, X, and Y registers 16-bits wide rather than 8, and the carry flag is reset because an add with carry operation will likely follow. Resetting the carry flag makes any subsequent ADC instruction a pure ADD, because the contents of the carry flag won't interfere with the result. But this really has very little to do with how "bash" or whatever you call it works in the game. What it should tell you is that those functions work with 16 bit values though.
