| It's fairly straightforward. Just google 7z and you'll find the utility to use. Easiest way to use it is to use the filemanager version that comes with it. That closely resembles winzip or winrar's functionality, i couldn't figure out how to use the other programs exactly. | |||

| The same reason that if if you drop something off your bed it has a tendency to bounce into a position under your bed. The reason? God likes to laugh at us. | |||

Omega is a transcendental number designating the probability that a turing machine program is syntactically correct and will halt. You also can't calculate all the digits of it. ![]() |

| Ev0, your question was already answered by d4s. It isn't necessary to include support for something you can already easily do. The IRQ is also a vector. I have also been having some sketchy results with the freeze feature. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. |

| The NP comics were pretty good, but a little inconsistent with the games. But it wouldn't be very interesting to read a comic that matches the game, now would it? The super metroid comic gave us Houston, and now it's common to joke that the dead decapitated guy in front of Kraid's lair is Houston. As far as the Link cartoon, yes I remember watching as a kid, and I could tell they were terrible then. Maybe it was the reason I didn't try any Zelda games until LTTP. And I always hated these Nintendo cartoons, but still liked to watch them for kicks. Why did it seem like in the Zelda cartoon that there were no people in Hyrule except Link and Zelda, and lots and lots of Moblins? That's just how I remember it. Captain N was the only watchable Nintendo cartoon, and even then it was a stretch. (edited by MathOnNapkins on 02-16-05 10:16 AM) |

| Are the slow downs related to the writing of files to your hard drive? Say, download like a 1MB file and it slows down for a short period of time? If so, there could be a misconfiguration on your hard drive. | |||

| Well, on an unrelated note, I finally got an unauthorized popup in Firefox 1.7. Never happened in Mozilla 1.6 though... | |||

The point is that firefox/mozilla is not popup bulletproof. Firefox/mozilla will still have problems, just like IE, from time to time. Thus, it is very distantly related to this thread. |

Yeah, and it had some of the main enemies from Kid Icarus as Mother Brain's cronies. Eggplant something and something else. I never played Kid Icarus . |

| I think I read somewhere that if you had 16 H-bombs properly placed correctly in key geologic locations, you could for all intents and purposes "blow up" the Earth. Now I imagine the meaning of this is that it would distort the outer regions beyond recognition. I would do that and detonate it from space. Then I win! | |||

| Mechanical pencils are great b/c nowadays they feature extra leads, and the erasure life about matches up with the lead life. 5mm breaks way too often, 7mm is the shit. The only bother I have is getting graphite on the side of my hand from extensive writing. For the longest time I used pens but after screwing too many things up on math assignments, I switched back in the past year to pencils. Normal pencils suck unless you're in a K-12 environment where pencil sharpeners are widely accessible. (K-12 = first year of elementary school - last year in high school. I only say b/c many of our posters are nonAmerican.) If it WERE possible to type everything I would, but doing some stuff just requires pencils. My math work is a pain to type unless you know LaTeX like the back of your hand, and so is doing Arabic homework (which I know how to type, it's just not worth it.) Thank you, that is all. |

| I think Grinto probably used a cheat to have Gestahl in his party. FFIII has "actors" or sorts. You can have Kefka in your party too, it's just very glitchy. Why he would remain unequippable is beyond me. |
