The funniest thing I've ever seen was when I was walking to class one morning last year with a friend. It was raining out, so we both had umbrellas out. She was getting this sneaky idea to fart in front of me, but she didn't notice that I had fallen back a bit b/c I had to fiddle with my umbrella for a moment. So this girl walks up in front of me, I'm not paying attention, I'm like 15 feet behind her, and all of a sudden I hear "ahh ahh, here it comes, and a farting." Then she looks behind her to see some random girl, the one who had passed me. Horrified and confused, the stranger takes off, walking really fast to get the hell away from this girl who likes to fart on people. My friend was just catatonic with embarassment.

And Kyouji, there is no indication that Trapster didn't understand the car was parked. If anything, Omega's post makes no sense. "tossing a penis"? Ouch.

Well, probably b/c not everyone had a multitap. Then again, you would figure that someone who played SD2 would play SD3 and already have a multitap for 3-players.

Uh huh, sounds real legit coming from Mr. Pastel Green himself.

btw: I don't care about the pats, I was just changing the subject.

I got you beat. When I was in Seattle, they had "The Erotic Bakery". I was quite disappointed to find that they didn't actually bake anything.

Well... ah that's even worse than the one I aquired a couple years ago. 200mhz Pentium 1, 2.4 gb HD. I doubt anything's salvageable in terms of parts. Just too old. I'm still using the 2.4 gb hard drive from the old one as my C: drive, but 500mb is just too small for anything useful these days. I also kept the floppy drive, but I never use floppies anyways. The power supply is no good, likely. About the only other thing you could get out of it would be the case and maybe some IDE cables, and even that's iffy.

I'd say just keep it around as something to fuck around with various technology. Like others have said, fool around with Linux, or make it run on only DOS or something.

I had a dream once of someone who was supposedly Valcion in the context of the dream. I don't think I've ever seen a pic of the real Val, but it was some guy with a beard, and brown hair, and he was really angry and uptight, going to get espresso at Starbucks in a fancy car or something. And then he banned me from dreaming. (Just kidding)

I should stop looking at this board right before I go to bed...

I get the feeling, talking to older folks sometimes, that maybe lingering animosity towards Jews in the older generation is merely swept under the rug, hidden from plain view. Older folks tend to take surveys more than other age groups. I think that might be part of the reason you see these results. Hell, I can tell that my own grandparents don't have warm feelings towards Blacks or Jews, but they will still put up with them.

Ziff, your view of the world is scary. You're what, 17? Where do you get all your information from? You like to sound like a man of the world, and I'm sure you're very intelligent, but WHERE do you get your information from? I'm not saying you're being lied to, but time and time again I see you post stuff that is out of the range of common knowledge, but without anywhere to go to verify it. To me it sounds like you have a political confidant who mentors you, or maybe an underground news source.

I sometimes look at underground news coverage, but like all media I still get the feeling my view are being manipulated. Everyone has a slant and no one's a saint. That's mainly why I don't read much news anymore, b/c I can't really verify much for myself.

:\

Out of the three weird ass comics like that I know of, I like untitledgif.org the best. Pokey seems hard to get into. Maybe I just appreciate the math/economics/science/comp sci nerd jokes of Untitled more. *thanks Zem*

Well, romhacking is self motivated, rarely do I see it that people just pick up projects others suggest. If I knew more Japanese I'd look for a patch through them, I'd bet some crazy Japanese kid already did this... considering it was mainly released there.

Erm, I remember in Nintendo Power itself it said that we didn't get FFV, and explained the name confusion. That was a looooooooooong time ago. But, since not everyone read Nintendo Power. All I'm saying is that the information was out there before the internet got hot.

Well, my gut reaction to that is bad, but when you start seeing it in a broader context, if there are going to be more and more gay partners with kids, their kids are going to be thinking, "Well why aren't there any families like ours on TV?" What it comes down to is having your lifestyle banned from TV...

I've a feeling if that gets nixed maybe you'd start to see more networks for gays, with "special" children's programming. Segregated TV? I mean, same sex marriage seems really weird to me, and I'm sure a lot of people feel that way too, though they might not condemn it. It'll be interesting how this all develops over the next few decades.
