It's easy... just delete the first 200 bytes.

Edit: decided a "go to hell flame" was a little harsh.

Corruption is all right for finding data, but for figuring out how game mechanics work it is gnerally poor.

Oh well, at least I get to have the quintessential college Thanksgiving dinner:

Replace that with real Budweiser and you'd bring tears to my eyes. It would be... so beautiful.

In any case, though I'm not really that religious anymore I thank God for letting me be as fortunate as I am, in spite of the things I don't have or haven't achieved yet. I'm also really thankful for my family, as they do care about me a lot.

I personally think C++ will be way more of a headache, but then again C# requires those runtimes. (But I guess those are finally being standardized?)

yes, it's been well known for almost a decade and a half that the bug catching net works on his (good) fireballs.

This of it as paying for your phonebill ahead of time. Once you use up your minutes you will have to go buy new ones. But your question would lead me to believe that it has something to do with your phonebill at home. The answer is no. It is totally independent of any service you already have. That is, if you buy the disposable ones from gas stations, supermarkets, and the like.

There is another kind of phone card which I've never used, but I know some people have which allows you to charge minutes to a credit card. Notice this is different from the ones we were talking about earlier. In the earlier example, you will use your credit card to buy more minutes. Here, it's just a card with no set limit on minutes, other than what you can eventually pay for.

Hang around gamefaqs long enough and you'll know pretty much all the stuff you said, and all the stuff I said, and pretty much all the stuff everyone here said. Remembering it all at once can be a chore indeed. The one thing you mentioned that I didn't know about was the 50 rupees hidden in the ground (near the huge rock arrow lol. Nintendo's not very subtle but for some reason I thought it was just a joke they made that arrow shape. Reminds me, there's another arrow formation in the eastern part of the overworld. Can't remember if it's light world or not...)

I followed up on it. It was just some quick directions where to go in the maze near the Dark Palace.

What most likely happened is that there was a processor error or a software glitch that randomly occurred. Improper loading of rooms will cause the Houlihan mode to trigger. It's technically not part of the normal game, it's an entirely different submode. I've experienced the same thing you did, beneficii, except that it was in a hacked rom, but in the same hole. The reason it triggered in my rom was because there was no proper pointer to a room to fall into. Can't say for sure in yours though. Snes systems have been known to glitch at random in various ways though.

Last movie I saw was Team America World Police. Fucking awesome in theatres. I don't know if I'd like it on a small screen though. It just seems like you're watching a real action movie, but every five seconds that is dispelled by the fairly good comedy. (The comedy was a little lacking at times, but it was still really good.)

Yes I do. B/c I'm sick of seeing this kind of shit. Especially on Gamefaqs. I figured people had enough sense not to do this here.

Well, considering that 128 (whatever unit it is) MP3s, which are the minimum bitrate for satisfactory playback, are already heavily compressed, you would be hard put to compress it even further. You can only target so much redundancy in a set of information.

It might be 196 that is the minimum, but I can't remember at this time. You won't get any additional quality at higher bitrates.

I've heard that other formats will tend to yield smaller file sizes. .wma (windows media audio) in particular. You might be able to convert them to save space, if that's what your only concern is.
