The mall in my hometown has Hot Topic directly across from Abercrombie and Fitch. It's a fashion hub for two diametrically opposed subcultures. People who want mainstream style (and possibly to get laid) will go to A&F, and people who want gothic/punk/and so on style (and maybe to get laid) will go to Hot Topic.

It's amazing how easy it is to buy an identity these days.

I seriously want to stab the next person I see wearing any of the following t-shirts:

-"Everyone loves an Italian/Irish/German girl."
-"New Jersey: Only the strong survive." (there's another one like this I forgot)
-"Don't mess with Texas."
-etc. etc. it's not funny or clever the 1000th time around.

Everyone has these fucking shirts! You see the problem now? My dream job is probably just opening a t-shirt shop where people can come in and put whatever they want on a shirt and get it for like 10 dollars or so. Then at least I wouldn't have to look at the same damn shirts all day.

I would like to request a bug that destroys my entire registry and hard drive, and hacks into my internet accounts and deletes all my files there too. Too much trouble?

Garmarond Narrow. Nuff said. It's a very cool, stylish font, with its graceful serifs. *drool* But I don't use it much anymore since I haven't had a Macintosh as my primary computer since 1997 or so.

Be careful where you puke Coby. My friend actually slipped in someone's vomit the other day at a bar. She had to take off all her clothes, save undergarments, and they gave her an XXXL t-shirt (no pants) to wear around the bar.

As far as getting sick, I'm always shocked by how crappy I feel when I'm sick. I'm always worried I have some terrible disease that will probably kill me, though I won't bother trying to find out what it would be. (i.e. see a doctor) Hypochondriac? Yep probably. And puking sucks a big fat one, though the afterpuke feeling is wonderful. I guess that applies more so to drinking though.

Ok ok I'm sorry I had to make a joke, but this has to stop. Elixir look at the very first post of the thread. NO REQUESTS. That means you only talk about PROBLEMS in this thread. NOT STUFF YOU WANT CHANGED/ADDED IN.

This whole "Kerry Owned Bush" stuff is a matter of perspective. My roommate walked in earlier today and started jabbering to his mom on his cell phone about the thorough trouncing Kerry received. I'm inclined to believe that it's just biased thinking on both sides and we all want to think our favorite candidate won.

If anything I hate that goddamn music that plays when they're around. I think it's the same as the space pirate music. There are times when I hate prime with a passion and those be them.

He never said it wasn't, WW. That was the point.

Though only part of it is. I wouldn't dream of calling what we do a warez scene.

My brother is sort of the same way, though I don't think his problem is as extreme. Though, what he doesn't do in drugs he makes up for in paranoia. Last time I came home he was dead serious that he thought a mafia hitman was after him because he "got an emerging drug blacklisted that the mob had wanted to sell." I don't know what to do with him. Everytime I'm at home he tells me about his newest drug escapades and it's really uncomfortable. I'm only home about 1 month per year so I hope my parents can figure something out.

You have every right to be paranoid about spiders, DV. I've noticed that the more I kill the more they seem to hate me and start showing up more and more often. So I made a peace treaty with them of sorts and now I don't kill them in my own home. I don't think I've seen a spider in ages here. In other homes, however...

I'm also the official sugar ant Hitler. I had a nasty infestation of them a couple years ago at my old apartment. There'd be upwards of 500 of them near my garbage can, sometimes in my room (they liked to play near my computer for some strange reason), and I'd get out good old Windex with Ammonia D and spray those fuckers till there were bodies everywhere. I was home fairly often so I think I actually managed to wipe them out personally. I saw a queen Ant a few days before move out and I killed her too. She was probably looking for the one who murdered all her children. ::remembers the glee with a shiver::

Damn, while it seems complicated to read about, I think we in the US could benefit from a preference system. Everyone always talks about how Nader and third parties are the bane of the Democratic party. Then you can still vote for Nader if you want and if (not really an if) he fails that can get siphoned off to a candidate you prefer. I'm not sure but it might be able to give third parties a foot in the door here.

I'm posting this because when I romhack I do it for long periods of time in one day. I need something to listen to/ watch when I'm having an uninspired moment or want to take a breather.

Usually I just come here or one of the other acmlm boards to be amused but when the board is dead there's not really much to see. I also listen to lots of music, mostly VG music and funk, dance, and a bit of some other random genres in there.

Well anyways, what do y'all do when the going gets boring?

That's the point Bella. You're not slow, the formula by which they got Martha Stewart's age is not at all important. You're not supposed to notice it, the person who wrote that is an obsesssed math freak. I ought to know, I do weird stuff like that too. But it's not like I go out and write blurbs about them.

My brother drives a Toyota Corolla with 250000 miles on it. It seems like a pretty good car. It devours (burns) oil like a mofo, but he's never had any other problems with it.

I know a lot of people in this town drive Ford Festivas, which are shitty little boxes that usually drive on a stickshift. While crappy they don't seem to be hard or expensive to fix. And they're hella small = good gas mileage.

Please Knuck. Spare us the "I am better than you" routine. I'd like to see you do what I do and not get bored. I mainly opened the thread to help me find some new kinds of music to listen to.
