Originally posted by Sion The answer is simple. You have a lot of water (mixed with other things) going into your bladder very quickly. The downside to soda and sugary drinks is that sugar and caffeine accelerate the rate at which water is introduced into the bladder. Hence they dehydrate you since that water isn't staying in your system very long, nor is it going to places it needs to go (sweat glands, cells, etc.). That's why I said to quit drinking soda for at least 4 hours then see what your pee looks like. It should be much darker than when you were just drinking the soda. The carbonation (C02) in soda also gets into your bloodstream, acting like Carbon Monoxide's little brother and makes you sluggish, since oxygen can't bond as well to hemoglobin. So yeah soda is really bad for active people, especially athletes. I don't know if alcohol does the same thing but I know it does absorb water, effectively dehydrating you. |

I don't understand the obsession with filters. If anything they deemphasize care for graphic detail. Pixelation is fine in my book as long as it isn't gaudy looking.

No offense Chaosflare but I don't want to beta test. I have enough to do at the moment. Maybe Kitten Yiffer or whoever can take my spot.

I don't really understand your problem Wlokos because you haven't told us exactly what your parents find wrong with your "Balance of friends and school." Do they not like your friends or something? Do they think you spend too much time not doing school oriented things? If so then they are naturally worried about you. Parents always worry about how their children will turn out, even if nothing is actually wrong. Even though I agree with you that social life is important, at least yield somewhat to your parents. I'm sure it means a lot to them. |

...over a water pistol? Man that's fucked up. I'm real sorry to hear this; you and your friend sounded real close. |

I was listening to "The fierce battle" (Atma weapon theme) and the animation lasted longer than it. |
It's damn cool to say the least.

Cool. Glad to see someone taking some leaps towards messing with CT. |

I have a friend in college with this problem. It seems like a pain and a half to me but he's adjusted to it since he's learned what he can and can't eat. Like at McDonald's he gets hamburgers with no buns and such. |

ditto, although some SPC utilities will go the other way, making a WAV file out of SPC playback and then you can compress that into an MP3. Superjukebox, for example. |

Which version of snes9x are you using? You can toggle backgrounds being on or off with the 1-4 keys on the keyboard, see if that helps. Hitting 2 Toggles BG2 being on or off, for example. |
If the problem persists you may need to get a newer version of DirectX.

Snes9x has been able to read zipped ROMs for many years

If you're going to be drinking a lot, know this helpful rhyme that I had to learn the hard way cuz no one told me. Spurn it and you might end up puking. Especially if you eat greasy food along with it. |
"Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Beer before liquor, never been sicker." I don't really do mixed shots but I like mixed drinks sometimes. Availability will vary depending on the bar and the bartender working, so just ask them what their best ones are. If you can, ask for an AMF (Adios Mother Fucker), Pink Lemonade, or a Long Island Iced Tea. Orange Bacardi with Sprite is also good. Of course, you can always go with stuff eveyone has, like Beam and Coke.

Eh, I liked it better when the guy that did those cartoons did really short cartoons and they played before commercials sometimes. Not something I want to watch as a series. |

It's rarely laugh out loud funny. But it has a slow going sense of humor I tend to like. |
I'm glad to see it has another season, chappelle had me worried with his commercials all like "i'm on because they ran out of eps of Reno 911." Chapelle is ok but I get tired of race humor after a while. Reno911 is more multidimensional.

I haven't seen the whole thing but from the 1/2 hour I saw I can tell it was a very funny movie overall. *puts on list of things to finish doing* thanks for the reminder. |

I don't care too much for the show but that's just me. Did anybody see it / think it was good?

The central work that a rom editor does is not dependent upon what operating system you're in (Unless your processor Really Really Really sucks.) Hence the problem of porting is one of making the GUI all over again. If someone wanted to do that I'm sure they would approach FuSoYa. Unless you're personally willing to do that I wouldn't ask it of others. |

Confront her about these issues. That's the easiest way of doing things. You're only been dating what, 2 weeks, so any emotional fallout from a breakup would be minimal. If you don't like her vibe when you confront her, say the hell with her. |
On the other hand, you could always just discuss it with one of her friends away from her if you get the chance. I believe women tend to be more honest with their friends about their relationship than with the one they're actually in the relationship with. If you get to talk to someone who seems trustworthy she might drop a few hints.

Sometimes I'll experience a feeling as though I'd seen what i was experiencing in a dream beforehand. I don't know if it's my mind playing tricks on me or what, but the feeling is overwhelming sometimes. I can think of at least one very convincing occasion. |
