| I wouldn't call the cops, but I'd be calling a help line of some sort. There's a crisis line here for things like this, but I don't know what one in your area would be called or how to contact it. It's a psych help line and can offer help for this kind of thing. |

| You ever have just one of those days where things just.. don't quite go right? I'm having one now. It's nothing big or really terrible that's happening, it's just a bunch of small, irritating things that are driving me nuts. * I overslept slightly * I woke with a mild stomach ache * I missed the bus, so we drove to work * I arrived at work exactly on time -- which is late when you have to be on the phones at that time. * My phone was flat, somebody used it yesterday and didn't put it back on it's cradle. (this means that I can't work on help desk properly as I need to use a handset cradled between shoulder and ear; and I'm wearing wool today which means the handset keeps slipping off my shoulder and flying over the desk) * My keyboard had been changed. Two seconds of using the other keyboard proved that I needed to invest time in changing it * This is merely cosmetic, but my desk was messy and the plush puppy toys I have all knocked over * I tried to log a warranty call to IBM and our system lost the model number, so IBM wouldn't accept it * I got a bit of an earbashing from a department director It's only 11.16am, and I'm going to sulk into my coffee now. Finally got the IBM call logged, but it took two calls after I had to speak to the client before they'd even talk to me... I'm sure you have all had some of these days? Yiffy Kitten -- but you can use other legal services besides iTunes on your iPod. I don't use the iTMS, it's not even available in Australia (yet, a record company is holding it up) and I've legally aquired MP3's and been able to put them on my iPod before... |

However, I wasn't paying for three weeks of that. If I had been paying for it, I'd have been more upset. (and the last week was provisioning, not paid service) I'm pretty cool with things until my money is involved. I don't have a whole bunch of it to be wasting on materials and services that are no good to me, so I'd tend to get upset if there was downtime that I was expected to pay for... I'm guessing Colleen's paying for his downtime... and if I were him, I wouldn't be real happy.
