| Looks very good to me. I like the planet and the rings around it the best. I do agree with everybody else about the name at the top being very large and stealing focus from the rest of the picture, but it sounds like you're already aware of that. |

| Finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Will read The Da Vinci Code afterwards, cause I think I'm out of Harry Potter books to read. Need to get a bookshelf here, my book collection is getting really unruly. |

You can run HijackThis! without causing a problem -- just don't actually go do anything else (like deleting things) though till you have the results looked at by somebody familiar with that kind of thing. |
I would run Ad Aware and/or Spybot Search and Destroy first and see how that goes. Both are very good. Avoid Microsoft's AntiSpyware beta, and similarly Giant AntiSpyware -- in my experience they are a little overzealous and remove some stuff you may need too! If you still have no luck, then I would consider running HijackThis! and post the results to the HijackThis! forums where people are able to help out. Also, which virus scanner are you running? Is it up to date?

When I saw it on Slashdot, it was top story, I think that was this morning. I was in a channel and let the people there know, but the story on Slashdot was kinda flaky so didn't post anything here till I found more stuff. |

Google are going to be offering Infinity +1 storage to all Gmail users, to celebrate that Gmail has turned 1 year old today! And they've also introduced Google Gulp, a beta range of drinks. Check out the Gmail login page and watch that counter go all the way up to Infinity+1 !  In other news, Paris Hilton has been recruited to publicise Linux And I am going to sleep now...before the news on Slashdot gets any weirder. Least there is *some* truth to the Gmail thing......

 But yes, on a serious note, the new features are pretty good, more space and highlighting and things. I'm not sure what use I'll have for them yet, but it is nice to know that I will be able to also play with fonts, colors, etc as well. (restricted) |
