This was a photo I took on the weekend. I was at a Surf Lifesaving thing all weekend (I was an official for State Titles).

This was taken at 7am on Saturday at Christies' Beach.

It was coooold. I like the photo though.

Looks fine to me. I would probably add some more shadow to it a little, but otherwise fine

Is coming up with a pink background, is that supposed to do that??

Well, I'm working on my health too lately, my new years resolution was to lose weight and get a little fitter. I don't know if I'm getting there yet or not...

I've been eating much more healthily all year, but haven't really lost any weight. I've also been eating less, as I noticed I used to eat things when I didn't really need to eat anything.

I've been starting to exercise again, but it's hard to find the time when I work full-time and come home to a messy house each day. I tell myself that housework is sort of exercise, but I know that it's not unless I decide to ... say... sweep the entire house or something strenuous like that. Dishes and a tidy up is not going to help.

I'm thinking I'm going to get an exercise bike. I can do that at home (I live in a really hilly area, so walking is a bit hard until I build up some fitness (and thus stop having asthma attacks frequently)), it's gentle exercise so I can start out nice and easy, and it'll help me lose some weight.

Once I've used that for a while, I'll go back to walking, cause I much prefer a good walk, and once I'm fit enough to deal with the hills in this area, it'll be good fun.

Nice extension.

Installed it at work. Haven't had a chance to play with it much yet, but it's nice.

I like being able to reorder my tabs.

Over-rated -- Leonardo DiCaprio.

Gawd, I still remember the bloody fangirls at school.

I try very hard not to be a fuckhead. But I know some people have said that I am "inflexible". In those cases though -- t's not that I haven't listened to their opinions..... it's that I've considered them to be well... stupid.

I geek therefore I am.

Considering that all my waking life is filled with some variety of geekdom or nerdiness, I think the above sentence just about sums it up.

Well, this is a "Health, Food and Fitness" thread, so prescription drugs fit in fine

Personally, I'd try to take as little as possible if you can... although that's something I find hard to do myself (seeing how I go once I lose some weight I should be able to get off the tummy calmer-downer-ers). Reason being, it's all gotta be processed by your liver at some point, so the less the better I guess.

Wee -- I've been doing more walking around here at lunctimes. I keep feeling a little dizzy afterwards, but apparently that's cause I don't give myself an adequate "cool down".

I am also craving chocolate. So I'm going to eat some, just only a *little* bit, not a lot of it....

I'm going to get bathroom scales tonight too. I wanna know how much of a fatarse I am.

I also bought "French Women Don't Get Fat". I wanna find out more about this French Paradox thing.... all this eating fatty things and never getting fat... wahhh....

Thankfully if the common cold is a pandemic, it's a very mild strain of the common cold. However wasn't SARS a very dangerous variant of the common cold virus?? (or the same family or something?)

I believe anything Influenza based is highly dangerous as far as pandemics go.... spread much more readily than the common cold.

As for Chicken Pox, I hear that it's much worse when you're an adult, so if there is a new strain of it, I certainly don't want it!

I have 50 too, but not terribly anxious to get rid of them. *shrugs*

I'm sure I could find some people at my work that might want them though.

I don't know what the temperature was, it wasn't that bad -- as long as you were shielded from the wind.

The cooooold came from windchill.

It just wasn't a real good beach day. But it did look purty early in the morning.

You would bet correctly, my good sir.

Course, come to think of it, teenage girls obsess over just about everybody on TV/Movies/Music/Entertainment. Leonardo was just more annoying because ALL the girls would prattle senselessly about how gorgeous he was and how great an actor he was.... course, I'm sure I pissed off people too -- I was an X Files fangirl.

I'm wondering how many people I bored senseless with my gibberish about the Cigarette Smoking Man.

I don't know, but I would check a dictionary and see how many they have. They are unlikely to include (as already mentioned) dialects and regional slang, but it is all I can suggest.

Of course, your average dictionary won't include medical terminology and things like that, I know that you can buy whole medical dictionaries and stuff too...

But it's a start.

Er, to clarify, I didn't for a second mean that you should **count** the words in a dictionary. Especially when we live in the modern age of online and computer based dictionaries....

Of course, I don't know if places like Dictionary.com have anywhere on their site how many words they have in their database....

I'll definitely second the Morgan Freeman one. I am quite a fan of his work, and you're right, he is excellent in every role he takes on. It would be nice to see him get more recognition.

There are some celebrities that I think deserve to be recognised for their talent. Morgan Freeman is one of them. Unfortunately, the ones that I think should be recognised, are the ones that are the least recognised. The ones that rely on showing a bit of skin, or being obnoxious or whatever however....

Is there any other way that you can get on to this person?

If so, you might need to ask them if they know -- or let them know that there is a problem.
