Eh, I was behaving myself yesterday. We have new filtering software here at work... it's actually been here for a while, but yesterday there were presentations going on that showed said traffic in real time, and I didn't wanna show up at the top of the reports..  Sites will be being blocked here, I am guessing that this will be one of them. |

| It's pretty hard to bother me, but if you do IM me while I am at work, I may have trouble responding to messages. It doesn't bother me or anything, I just take a while to respond cause I need to do it in between calls (if I try to do it on a call, I find it wayyy too distracting) |

| "Doof-Doof Boy" is my brother. He's moved in with me, and he's been there two weeks. He sub-leases under me, so technically I am his landlord and he is my tenant. He plays music that can only really be desribed as "doof doof". I think technically it's "dance" or "trance" or "hardcore" or something. I don't know, it's all "doof doof" to me. The doof doof starts from the moment he gets home and doesn't stop until 10.30pm when I finally snap and threaten to kill him with whatever kitchen implement I am holding at the time (last night it was a potato peeler). Now, I don't want to be the kind of landlord that is a bitch, nor do I want to be a bitchy sister, but -- how can I get him to be more considerate when it comes to his goddamned doof doof!? Last night I had a headache and so eventually I gave him headphones and let him blast his ears out with that. I could still hear the bass from the other end of the house, but it was a lot better than when he does it at the usual volume all night.  What do you guys suggest? |

| Well, if I believe the marketing hype, yeah, it's meant to save the company (actually a government department) a ton. And yeah, I'd like to see if the IP thing works here against this stuff. The software is server side though, and has the ability to scan and block in real time, so even if I went to somewhere through IP, I suspect that it would block too.... |

| Oh, I've already told him to quote "turn that down, willya?!" a few times. I've also told him that under NO circumstances is he to be noisy at all after 10.30 as he lives with people who have to be up early. |

| I used to have a very high tolerance, but then I used to be one of those girls that was "one of the boys".... My tolerance now is good, but not what it used to be. It also depends on what I'm drinking. This thread reminds me, I need more grog at home. |

| Well, I'm hardly a "kid" either, at 24 years of age. And I enjoy drink too. I don't enjoy getting too drunk anymore, I used to binge drink a lot, but I still enjoy drinking. Now I generally just drink enough to feel happy and/or relaxed. Drinking is an enjoyable experience for me. It also alleviates a lot of the general anxiety that I feel on a frequent basis. I mostly like to drink red wine though nowadays. I used to drink more beer, but now I don't. Part of that is the fact that it's hard for me to carry a carton of beer home on the bus (and I don't think the bus driver would let me anyways). Lenophis -- As for this not being considered spam, I took this thread as a question of people's tolerance. After all, Kasumi is asking specific questions at the end of her post about how much we drink, etc. Yes, she's mentioned that she's drinking, but she's also asked us questions about our drinking. I've answered by saying that I have higher tolerance than most, but nothing special. Once upon a time, I'd have given NSNick a run for his money though  I'm not so sure now.And I wouldn't mind a drink myself right now. My housemate has given me a bottle of Canadian Club, maybe I can have some of that.  |

| I like the palette, but I was just curious as to whether there was a specific reason to it. I've long been attributing it to being "your style" for a while though Hey.... have you ever done a wallpaper sized pattern? I think it'd be cool to see a large, intricate pattern of that size. |

| As stated, you don't want to put anti-aliasing on the pixel font. Just sent the font smoothing to "none" The sparkles look okay, but yes, the animation is a bit off. I'd probably not have quite as many sparkles either.... |

| As stated above, Manga does leave for a lot more character depth and stuff. But the manga for Hellsing is VASTLY different to the series. The major differences are the dark humor in the Manga which is all but gone in the Anime series, several major characters and huge story differences. Some anime follow the manga very closely (ie, Fruits Basket) but then the Manga continues and goes further with the story.... And there's manga like Evangelion, which is actually even darker than the series. The manga for Kenshin, from what I've seen is very good and has better character development.
