I stand by my comment that Event Horizon sucks.

But if we go out of the realm of live action, there are some REALLY bad animes. One of them was called "Armageddon" and I don't even remember what happened after the star wars ripoff parts.

I haven't been able to watch all of it yet; it's still loading.

However with what I have seen, I wonder how long it took them to do that.... I've tried stop-motion animation before and it took me a while just to make a lazy susan spin around...

As mentioned on Slashdot though, there's nothing to really back this up.

It seems pretty silly to me, would like to hear something that backs this up or not though....

You remind me of a raven. I can't put my finger on why, though.

When I get Jesper messed up with Jasper, I tend to think of that old guy from the Simpsons. ;

You know something -- I find this really interesting now that I've found out that Microsoft has had record earnings for this quarter.

So, I don't think the piracy's been hurting them.

Server 2003 is a nice server platform; I use it daily at work, mostly for messing with Active Directory.

But yes, XP is pirated a LOT. Although I guess back in its day, 95 and 98 were also pirated a lot too....

If its Microsoft or Adobe, it seems to be incredibly easy to come across a pirated verison of it.... ;

I'm trying to make isometric pixel art of my house.

I'm nowhere near done, this is just outline stuff so far, and I still have another shed to do, and the back and front yards. But here's what I've done so far.

I have to try to work out how I draw trees and bushes and stuff isometrically.... I'm tempted to draw blobs, but I don't think that's a good idea.

The front of my house looks like this btw. As you can see, I have a lot to go still.

But I can't work out how to draw the trees.

Yeah, I'm organising getting the lawn mowed. (I don't have a lawnmower; and ever since I was a child, I've been afraid of them.)

Er, and sorry about the background; it was created without one and just saved as-is. Once it's done, it will still have transparency; I plan on not drawing beyond my little house and block of land.... but the house itself will be colored

Well, I think I'm going to concentrate on the majority of the garden stuff afterwards; for the moment I'm going ahead and coloring what I have.

I've started blocking in areas of color, but there is a LOT to do; I've found tons of little things around my house I need to make sure I add.

I dunno why I'm afraid of lawnmowers; I think it's cause I remember watching my father mow the lawn when I was little, and stuff flying at me from the mower.

As for near the little garage; yeah, I'm still not done there yet.

Before I go to bed; some more....

And fark, this stuff takes as long, if not longer than a CG... ;

I've added a few more things before bed -- mostly detail on the flower beds and putting flowers and stuff in there to demonstrate that those are flower beds.

And now it's past 1am and I have to work tomorrow. Sleep!!

More pixelling at work; will continue when I get home.... lappy is currently sad at 3% battery life too.

Shadows....

Will work out the danged bushes and trees soon; have experimented with a few things but they all sucked, so far.

More trees, more bushes.

Now, I have got a black background around everything.... although when I put it around the trees to match, I'm not sure if I made my tree look cartoony (which I liked but not sure if it suits) or not...

So... which do you think looks better?

Otherwise... I think I'm... about... done.

As much as I love the look of the trees in the first pic, I don't think they suit at all; so I'm considering the second one there the finished version.

The other trees are danged cool, they just don't fit in the style of the rest of it as they look a little... cartoony.

So yeah, I'm uh... done.

Ta-dah...!
