 More art... this time I've drawn Harry Potter. Or at least, I've tried to draw Harry Potter... but I've not read any of the books nor seen any of the movies, so I'm not really sure if I've gotten it right. I referenced some artwork, but couldn't find a clear enough shot of his eyes... but a lot of fanart seems to show them as green, so that's what I went with. | Yeah, I can draw anime styled characters, in fact it's pretty much... what I do. Least as far as artwork goes. As for the Gimp.... well, I've never been able to get my tablet to work correctly in the Gimp, which has been a barrier to me using it. But it's not just the program.... I'm able to produce similar results in Photoshop, Painter and Sketchbook Pro too.... I can't in the Gimp till the pressure and tilt sensitivity behave though. As for getting paid... I get paid to do IT tech support. I doubt anybody's going to pay me to do this, realistically. |

| I've nearly missed the voting thing.... Eh, maybe next time. | Frankly, I think it's a good idea, and good competition to all the cheaper flash based MP3 players out there. As for not being able to see what's being played -- I don't think it'd really worry me. I don't mind not knowing what's going next, and besides, if you don't like a song, you can always just click "next"...  |

| Well, my thoughts: 1) Pretty. Very small... and very cute. 2) If I got one, I'd up the RAM, and I'd likely get the faster of the two 3) It'd be good to get me that second Mac I'd like, for in the lounge... I use my PC less and less, but it'd be nice to have a faster Mac. I've been considering the iMac G5, but this is more affordable.... 4) It'd be a good suggestion for my brother, who'd like a cheap computer.... (if he gets a Mac, I guess I'll have to spend less time fixing his inevitable porn site related spyware problems, for starters) 5) It'd be a great suggestion for my mother or nanna, who both find themselves fed up with Windows frequently 6) They'd be great at work with a KVM switch for when our analysts need to occasionally support OS X... | Considering that on my way to get lunch today, I heard 256Mb stuff advertised for the same price (on sale!) I actually don't think it's a bad price at all either. It'd be a good thing for something like my Mum. Course, I wouldn't suggest it for somebody who's real serious about their music.... get a real iPod if you are. |

| Hmm... I always thought it'd look better if we had the buttons the same size, if possible. My main complaint with the last buttons, particularly when we were still hosted by Erk, was that no button was the same size as any other button. Now we have that same situation. I like the buttons themselves, but is there any way we can get things all the same size? I tried before in that suggestions thread, suggesting we made standard (88 x 31) buttons, to match the big boards button (I even remade the powered by button in that size to demonstrate) ....can we make same size buttons in this current size? I like the small, cute buttons, but would it work?? |

| I'm confused. What decade are we in? Well with the bands/musicians, I'm not a fan of either really, but I did like "November Rain", and I used to be able to play parts of it on the piano when I was a kid (wouldn't be able to, to save my life anymore) Well, welcome to the board. |

| Ah, yeah, it was me who made the smaller button, I also made a dodgy "donate" one and a remake of Erk's hosting one too, to try to demonstrate how things look all the same size. (That and I had more important things to do, so I proceeded to procrastinate and do other things instead... like make buttons) I don't think I was aware of it being used anywhere else though, other than in that thread. Cool Anyways, if the Acmlmboard one has to be that width, perhaps stretching BrowseHappy to that width might help? I don't know if it'd look okay without trying (and frankly right now, cannot be arsed) but it would offer some kind of solution. | Hmm, I haven't tried SubEthaEdit, I've been using TextEdit, vim or Taco HTML Edit depending on my mood at the time. I can definitely concur with what's been said re: Adium and Transmit. I tried Fire as an IM program, but never got real fond of it. With software things, I have three depending on what I need to do. I have Photoshop CS, which is fine and generally I use for actual photos these days, Corel Painter 8, which I have used to draw things on here with (requires tablet), and Pixen, which is generally used for pixel art. Out of those, only Pixen is free, and it's pretty cute I also recommend "Quicksilver", it's a search tool I've been using for some months now, and it stops me going through the Finder to open an App or find things. Click the icon, start typing "ter" and it will bring up the Terminal, etc. |

Hmm... I was going to say motherboard, but then that's what my PC was doing when I first had my upgrade, and so I replaced the motherboard and it worked. But it could be CPU too from the sounds of it...  |
