| The photo thing would be incredibly useful for some users. Let's face it, some people would love to be able to show somebody their photos anywhere, anytime. My mother, for example, who takes photos wherever she goes, at all parties, etc, pretty much is constantly having friends over and showing them the photos on the TV... she'd prolly love to be able to carry an iPod around and show her friends when she's meeting with them for lunch and stuff too. It is probably only marginally useful to the hardcore geeks, but you have to remember that the hardcore geeks aren't the people Apple will be marketing to... |

| My PC dual boots into Fedora Core 1 (need to upgrade sometime) but is currently out of action and I don't have time to fix it right now. Other partition booting fine.. WinXP, which I only use for art, and I keep running for the benefits of my roommates. I use Mac OS X, which is a BSD. Not Linux, but worth mentioning, as it is UNIX based. |

| If you wanna play newer games, like Doom 3, chances are it's better for you to buy a new PC. For games, make sure to buy one with a fast processor (AMD Athlon or Intel Pentium 4) and a good fast video card. DO NOT GET A CELERON! It will have a spaz attack and die at the mere sight of the game CD, and I'm talking before you even put it in the CD Drive (okay, i have a think against Celerons, but really, they're not designed for the job). Dead easiest way to get what you want: Look up the minimum requirement specifications for the games you want to play, and get a MINIMUM of those specs in your new PC. This will ensure it will play those games well, and will also be able to play new stuff that comes out.  |

| Well, there's not much longer left of this month.... It's now the 28th here in Aussieland.... so very little time left. I'm not meant to be typing at all right now, but I am. As mentioned, it's not bad on my laptop, but it is a royal bitch on my PC at work. I saw the doctor today. Xrays came up normal as expected, so getting an ultrasound done on my wrist tomorrow. Not allowed to do any typing, at least on other keyboard, for a week, should keep typing here to a minimum too. Starting physiotherapy tomorrow. Doctor says if this gets worse, may need to consider quitting my job.  Well, not much longer left of the month, so I should... be safe in the ACS, right? Even if I can't type much. |

| You can get addicted to physical pain even. You know how people get addicted to chilli? Same thing. Chilli affects your pain receptors, so essentially it's causing pain... but people not only get used to it, but they get addicted to it. People who like chilli actually get higher pain thresholds too. I'm guessing all pain is like that to some extent, but Chilli is one of the things that is most commonly noticed.... I'm guessing because it's socially acceptable to subject yourself to chilli, wheras it's not socially acceptable to play slice-and-dice with yourself. And I met a guy on the train this year who can't feel anything at all. No pain, no cold, no heat, no nothing. Said it's kinda cool, somebody accidentally dropped a hammer off his roof onto his head once, he didn't feel a thing.... |

I can see that some of the heavier posters will find it handy I possibly won't, but then I tend to post rather sporadically.

He did well to call 911 and get help. I feel sorry for the kid though. His mum's gone, and his dad is a psycho.... where's he gonna go when he recovers? I guess he has no.. immediate family.. that he can rely on.

I bought the game several months ago, but haven't really played it a whole heap. I've only just completed Chapter 1 of the game.. But so far, I can't say I'm enjoying it.
