| Ah, so how would the citizens of Acmlmistan go about making this a "pressing issue" ? I'd like to see something either happen, or a decent explanation as to why it won't happen, y'know. Posting repeatedly about this feels like.. well, as I said, pissing in the wind.... or banging my head against a wall.. It would be nice for this particular issue to have some resolution. The majority of us are mature enough to be able to discuss current affairs without resorting to namecalling, hairpulling and shit-flinging by now.... I think So I'm not sure what's really holding this up, all it would need is willing participants (hey, like me!) and a mature and sensible moderator. I'm sure between the lot of us, we could romp those basic requirements in |

| My best friend had Glandular Fever in high school. We thought it was kinda funny, because she was good friends with a male friend of ours, and he got sick at the same time. It was known that she had glandular fever, so we put two and three together and got nine. Clearly they **both** had Glandular Fever and some kind of illicit affair was going on behind our backs!! *gasp!* OMG OMG OMG! *flails arms about and acts like a generally ditzy high school girl*Course, he had a cold and was back in a few days, while my best friend was away for a few weeks. Which kinda shot that whole rumor/theory out of the water. But it made for a lot of laughs.My best friend thought it was hilarious when she heard it though  So did the guy. Thankfully though, our friends knew that we were just a bunch of overactive, silly drama queens that meant no harm, and saw the fun in it In fact, I think they both laughed at how stupid we all were (hey, we were 15....)Wonder if any such rumors are currently spreading about you guys at the moment? If they are, hopefully they're the kind of silly and harmless stuff that my friend was subjected to. My friend still finds it funny |

| I'd rather not call it "Political" discussion, because there are a bunch of other "taboo" topics that can't be discussed elsewhere too -- like Religion, for starters. A lot of news out there isn't necessarily political... I'd like to discuss all kinds of more contraversial issues And even some noncontraversial news from time to time (at least, not conventially controversial news...) | Thank YOU for bringing up my favorite request again It's reminded me that I needed to find out what was going on with this, and try to get some action. I've requested this myself at least four seperate times, and that's just ME, not even counting everybody else who's suggested it. I'm glad that this time something seems to have happened, or started to happen with this, as I'd enjoy a news forum. So cheers for bringing it up again and letting us all have a rant and get the cogs moving.... Now my only fear is that it will become a forum for US politics only. Some US politics okay, but all US politics and I'll scream. Taryn cannot live on US politics alone! |

| Thing is, with the naming game, I have suggested "News and Current Affairs" however if it's just the Acmlmboard equivalent to FARK (minus the stupidity) then it will overlap with the way General Chat is used at the moment. Extended Discussion News and Current Affairs ? |

| Make sure you have your drivers handy in case you need them. XP detects a lot of stuff, but it's good to have drivers available if you find something important that isn't detected and installed automatically. This goes for all OS's though... |

| Meal I just had was pretty good, and pretty simple. Broccoli au Gratin, and some fresh Salmon. Course, Chinese food is my favorite. No particular dish, but I have a sentimental spot for Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup. |
