I hate it when people do that too... it's like tailgating but MUCH slower. I can't stand the impatience of so many people on the roads, and how rude other people will be when they're in a hurry.

Similarly (but without the car this time), it annoys me when I'm lined up in a supermarket queue and the person behind me keeps jumping about like they have ants in their pants too, cause they're so impatient to get further up the queue....

It seems Apple have called a special event on Wednesday the 12th.... for those who aren't aware "One more thing..." is what Steve Jobs says at the end of a keynote --- usually right before he introduces something new and unexpected.

The rumor mills are all saying we're about to see a Video iPod... and there seems to be a little bit of evidence to support it.

Now, I don't believe anything till I see it on Apple's website, but it's fun to speculate... What do you think Apple might be up to?

A video iPod would be pretty cool.... but do you think that people would want one?

I keep nearly getting something lately.

I come down all sniffly and headachey, fevery and muscle-pain-ey, it lasts several hours, I go have a nap, I'm fine.

It has been happening on and off for several weeks now. Each time it feels like I've been kicked in the head.

Then it goes away again. I don't know why I'm not coming down with a cold or whatever properly, but I wish I would. Then I'd take some time off work instead of going in of a morning feeling all chipper, and finishing up feeling like crap.

The site you mentioned is Ringtone software, right? It's not software that I've used before (I've used Ringtone software, but not this one), so I can't really offer you much advice on it.

Have you made sure to read the FAQ on their site, and checked their Support links?

Well, seeing as how my cellphone does not have bluetooth or any other way of communicating with a computer, how do you suggest I go about loading ring tones over to it, then?


With old Nokias, I've found that converting a ringtone to "Nokia Binary" (stupid name, it's not Binary at all) and SMS'ing it works well. You need a program to do this, I used to use one called Ringtone Converter.

I have the Chocobo theme in old Nokia format

Which is mysteriously not themed in Milk for once I must take steps to rectify that. Max Rudburg's themes + Shapeshifter = <3

I think there's ports of Rudburg's themes for Windows and Linux; in fact I'm sure of it. I remember using stuff based off Rudburg's themes in Gnome.

Well, the Nano/Mini and the full iPod have traditionally been for different markets/users anyways.... so I don't think the Nano and the new iPod are really in competition with each other so much...
