| Why the hell would anybody want to overclock a Pocket PC? o.o Well, from my exprience modifying hardware that should not be modified, you really shouldn't do this, your PPC won't like it. I have had a Toshiba PPC overheat.... |

| They do, I've seen AGP Low Profile cards before. They're not real easy to come across though. I know a couple of local wholesalers here have low profile video cards, but only from time to time. I guess you should keep searing newegg, I don't know anywhere else I can suggest -- and it will cost more than it's worth for me to hunt down wholesale stuff here and then send it to the US.  Last I checked, I can buy various components RETAIL in the US for the equivalent of the Australian WHOLESALE Aiieee... |

Oooh, Ooh, I know, I know! Maybe he wants to make his address book go REALLY fast...  Eh, a PPC isn't designed to act like a real PC that you can overclock and stuff. It's basically a fancy electronic organiser, that can do a few extra things, like surf the net.... you'd be MAD to overclock it. Course, there are always people that think that overclocking and such will make this kind of thing "better", but I'm guessing these are the same people that would've fallen for the "386to486" "hack" back in the days.... |

| Things, as usual with me, are not going real well. On Monday, I will be evicted. Today is Thursday. I still do not have somewhere else to go.... This is a basic rundown of the situation: I have been applying for rental properties, but the problem is that I do not have a rental history. All rental properties require you to fill in a bunch of forms, outlining your rental history, and if you don't have one, they overlook your application and pick somebody that has one. I have applied for a number of places and I have been knocked back because I do not have a rental history. I have been applying for share accomodation, but with that, I guess I've never really "gel"-ed with anybody. I tried to be nice and everything, but I don't think any of the people there really liked me enough, or found people that they liked better. Money is *not* the issue, I have money and I would be able to support myself in a relatively cheap little place. I can't go back to my mother's... well, I could but it's damned preferable not to. Put it this way, I'd rather sleep in a dumpster than go back to my mother's. My mother drives me insane. She says she "understands" my depression, and then she goes and does the worst possible things to stir it up. She literally has me borderline suicidal when I live with her. Even the hypnotherapist said to get out of my mother's house, to get out of there soon. So while going back to my mother's is an option, it's an option that will come at the cost of my mental health. I don't have any friends I can stay with. I have friends, but they're in the middle or renovating or they live too far away, so that's not really an option. I have called Mission Australia's crisis hotline and asked for advice, but they gave me the numbers of the homeless shelters in Adelaide. This brings me to where I am now. In four days, I will have nowhere to go. In four days, I will be evicted. I have applied for a bunch of rental properties tonight, in the hope that I find somewhere, anywhere to go. Somebody, please accept my application!! But in the case that that doesn't happen, I want to know if anybody can suggest anything else I can do, any other things I should investigate, in these precious four days... Now I'm just wondering if anybody else has any ideas of anything else I should do!! Please, any advice at all would be really really good right now.  |

| Er, with trying to resolve problems with my mother, I have already tried. That was one of the things I tried last time I lived with her. Generally, if I bring up her Control Freak nature up with her, she tells me it's "my fault" and plays the blame game. She gets too defensive to listen, and instead I get a torrent of anger and blame. I've tried a few times, and a few different methods of approaching the subject, but I'm always left with the same result. If I thought she could be reasoned with, or if I thought she could let me live there without micro-managing and interfering in my entire life, it wouldn't be a problem. |

| If I move out with Ben, I won't be able to get to work. Ben will be moving out to live with his friend Cirus, at a place called Eagle on the Hill. Eagle on the Hill is in the Adelaide Hills, in an area where unfortunately, no bus routes go, and I do not have a car. So, I can't really move out with Ben either, unless I plan to give up work. |

| I already thought about my workplace. Once, I was joking, the second time I thought about it, I thought a little harder.... and it's not exactly a viable option. I'm in a cubicle farm. I could crash on the floor, but I have a feeling security will find me, or at least the cleaners will. o.o Storage space isn't something I'd considered, but I don't know if I can manage that with a lot of the storage spaces around here being ultra secure and video monitored... o.o |

No real ground-breaking information, but it is interesting to note that we may be seeing more anime at the box office. Well, those of you lucky enough to live in the US, at least.... | Eh, don't worry, mine changes it's resolution on me randomly too. And the color settings. I *never* voluntarily use anything other than RGB color, but sometimes I will start a new document and discover that for whatever reason, it's created it in Greyscale or CMYK. I think Photoshop has a mind of it's own. |
