Uh... yes... thanks for that little insight.

Snika -- I'm not aware of something changing, but it seems that way with things happening like this.

Oh, and I've noticed another difference between what happens with your layout and Lenophis's.... yours goes *under* board text and things, Lenophis's went *over*....

If that makes sense....

Hmm... other games are working fine on the machine, I assume?

Can you also provide the specs of your machine?

Yes, I'm getting pretty used to the idea that life is short, and time moves entirely too quickly.

Every time I come to that realisation as well, as if on cue I hear Do You Realise by the Flaming Lips in my head....

Do you realise.... that everyone... you know... someday... will die.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes
Let them know you realise
That life moves fast
It's hard to make the good things last
You realise the sun don't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world
spinning around

Well, over here in Australia, it's starting to get warmer, and the Winter months are coming to a slow close.

It's still been pretty cold yesterday and it's a bit chilly today, but I'm finding that I don't need to wear a scarf as much anymore.

Surf Lifesaving Season will be beginning soonish (November) so now's the time for me to start my preseason training if I intend to get involved this year. I've discussed with Mum the possibility of starting swim training again (I need a ride there and back), so I can get fit again, as I'm really really out of shape lately (despite me having lost 10kg).

Summer's coming.

Well, I'm not sure what to do, but I'd be looking at finding out what kind of support services there are for people in your position.

In all honesty, I'd be looking at moving out if you can. You need to find somewhere that is stable and safe for you to live, and I'm sure there are ways of doing it.

I think that you also need to let your mother know why you're doing that too. Make sure she knows that you're moving out because of her, it might be the shock to the system that she needs to get herself straightened out.

Your Mum shouldn't disown you if you move out, she needs to grow up and realise that her behaviour is hurting you. I don't expect she will unless something drastic happens though to force her to from the sounds of it.

You need to look out for YOU though, not your mother. Your mother is a big girl, and she can look after herself (albeit badly from the sounds of it). She says she'd disown you, but do you think she really would? There's no denying that she'd be angry for a while, but it sounds to me like she'll get over it eventually....

Yes!

The world is going to end... tomorrow..... uh... aliens are going to come and laser our brains.

Meh, I used to be fairly impressionable in high school and believe all those theories that the world would end in 2000. I had a sense of dread for that year... so much dread...

I injured my thumb in school (it got squished between a baseball bat and a very fast baseball) and my thumbnail came off. I was told it wouldn't come back, but it did....

I had all kinds of fun scaring one of the boys with my semi-detatched thumbnail too, BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Xenosaga topics are best suited for the RPG Discussion Center or General Gaming.

Please, do us all a favor and go and read the forum descriptions and post things appropriately.

Thankyou.

I don't mean to be rude, but in all honesty, it's not that hard to put things in the appropriate forum. You should also try to put more content in your posts. Please read the FAQ as well.

Honestly, your conduct thus far has left MUCH to be desired.

That's cause then there were two topics on the same thing, and we don't need *two* of them, just one.

As for the topic, I've not played Xenosaga. I have played some Xenogears, but the game was never released in Australia so I had to get a copy on the Internet and run it on an emulator.

I don't like having to yell at anybody, but frankly, you need it.

Stop spamming up the forums.
Your conduct is NOT acceptable. Read the FAQ, particularly the parts about SPAM.
Please start to behave in an acceptable fashion, SOON. fuck that NOW

I'd think something like Ghost might be helpful to move the settings across.

Simply copying the files over will not work. I can't think of another way to do this right at the moment, but Norton's Ghost should allow you to do this.

You will need to make a Ghost Image of your current Windows XP installation. This cannot be done to the disk that XP is on -- it needs to be done somehow to another drive or partition.

Once you have your Ghost Image, you should be able to use it to image the new hard drive.
