I also wanted to give you a link to this promotional video, done by a member of the fraga community. It's pretty sweet. Just keep in mind if you watch it, that even though all the monitors in the video show counter strike, that is not the only game played. :-P

I think the author is a little biast. Hehe

I'm really pumped this year and it's going to be a lot of fun as always.


Eh... I'll be showing up assuming I can find someone to drag up there this year. I'm not really into going by myself for the third year in a row... just gets to be boring sometimes....

But, Yarx, I hope to see you there, if I find someone to bring. ;P

They really just need to have some form of a rating system on top of the pagerank. This takes a fair bit more work to implement but would result in higher quality of results. Just throw a little "rate" link or something beside each search result. If it's a good resource for what you searched for, then rate it up, if it was crap or completely unrelated then rate it down. From that and the search terms you used, certain results would be highlighted as either exceptional or unexceptional. The latter could be punished by having their pagerank lowered and the former have their pagerank increased.

Naturally this would require honesty from users and would no doubtedly be abused so it's not too practical, but would be a nice solution to the problem.

Unfortunately you'll never do away with pages like that really. People will always find a way around today's search engine techniques and flood it with their own advertisments, etc.

Just a question... do you think it'd be possible to get any quotes in my layout appear like my userinfo does?

I know you can change the style of blockquotes, but I use tables to make that inset look... anyone know of a way I might be able to make all quotes like that aswell?

The old movie had a different name than the book, because they actually released a 'wonka' candy bar, and they paid to have the movie promote it.. (the bar failed pretty badly...)

The new movie is apparently a lot closer to the book than the old movie.
