Yes I am new to the board but that dosen't mean I am new to SMW hacking.
'50 LEVELS' is the name of the hack and it simply contains 50 new Mario World
levels using normal GFX (no ExGFX) and original ideas. Each level features something
different and unique. If its successful I will make a sequel.

I will post screens of the hack soon.
And eventually a demo.

Sorry, I should probably say at least a couple o' more things about myself.
First off, hi to everyone at the board
I'm a big SMW hacker and I read threads here all the time. I'm always interested to see what is talked about here and now that I am registered, I hope I will be welcome here

And If its screens you want then its screens you will get.
I just have to learn how to put screens on the thread first.

Those are some good Metroid hacks right there.
Its too bad there isn't a proper full editor for it yet
(SMILE is fairly good but its not good for editing the game fully).

Here are the screenshots for 50 Levels. I only have 7 finished levels so here is 1 pic from each level plus the overworld sample.

Ok fine there is a few things I have to fix but You can get past the fish by ducking(duhh)
and the sequence is not that hard to remember honestly. The Overworld has little to no detail because the game dosen't have a specific theme or story. The game is at its early stages and it is the first hack I have commited to so it can only get better. It is supposed to be unusual in places, I know what I am doing.

Unfortunatly I have to leave that pink color on the cement blocks because changing the color will mess up the whole background color scheme

I have made a few changes to some of my levels and have come up with some very nice new ones:

'Deep Sea Diving' is now a vertical water level.

'Very Girly' is now called 'A Pink Challenge'

And the three new levels are called:

'The Haunted Forest'
'Question block Mania'
'Heaven and Hell'.

Screens of the level changes and the new ones will be posted early on Sunday (maybe earlier) on this thread.
I would still like to here any ideas for levels.
Remember, I'm making this hack for your enjoyment
(and for fun of course)

ALSO... I will release a special 10 level Demo once I have 10 full levels completed.

Again sorry for the complete lack of screens on the new levels

I'm glad to see some great positive feedback on my levels so far
Although the HDMA effect would be a reaaly good idea, I'm still planning on keeping the game using original GFX. I am trying to prove that a good Mario World hack can be made without 'fancy' ExGFX. I am already planning on Putting ExGFX AND the HDMA effect in '50 LEVELS 2'.

Call it '50 More Levels'.

Well I was going to call the sequel 'Another 50 Levels' at first so maybe I should stick with that name.

But anyway, I know I promised screens of some of the new levels today but I have decided to wait until I release the 10 Level Demo. It should be released very soon.

Mario Bandstand had its moments on the first Mario Party. But Mario Party 2 is the best Mario Party. I didn't like the third one very much. I can't wait to see the seventh instalment!!
