After having struggled for a while, I finally managed to access the board and post...
I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this new server, but it doesn't seem to like French providers or something.

ANYWAY... Glad you guys like what we've shown so far.
Me and Sasori need to move our ass fast because Impala has done a lot more work than we have so far... :p

Not really, just something they took out after RM95 and eventually readded now...

As for the size and requirements of the program, I guess it's their way of fighting piratage indeed... Either that, or they coded the program poorly.

Although... (most probably won't agree with me, whatever)
Back when Paper Mario got released on N64, the N64 was already doing pretty bad, in my opinion. The PS was way ahead.

It looks like the same goes for this one, releasing a great game not long before the GC dies.

Whatever you say, sales wise, the GC is getting slaughtered.
It's only a matter of time before the X-Box rises clearly above it. (not even talking about the PS2)

Not to mention Nintendo cutting down their profits by reducing the price of their console... That increased sales, that's true, but only for a temporary period.
It was just the same with the Dreamcast.
(plus a lot of people think the PS2 is better than the GC just because the GC is twice cheaper... lack of information)

The GC is already dead to me. It's the second time Nintendo screws up... Will they ever be number one again ? :p

Don't want to hijack this topic, so I'll leave it at that.

The GC is far, FAR from dead. As for profits... I laugh in your face. Nintendo is the only company that actually makes a decent profit from it's console. Yes, it had a loss in profits recently but that's just a temporary thing.

The GC may not be doing the best in the American market, but overall, it's doing fine. The Xbox is utterly crushed in Japan, at one point the Dreamcast was outselling it.

What difference does it make if Nintendo is first or third, anyway? I don't have a PS2 or a X-Box, and I don't like those consoles either. (notice how I just talked about *sales*, I didn't say "this console is better than this other console")

I'm only being realistic, as well as unbiased.

And the loss in profits is temporary ?
