| My most recent purchase was Prick's self-titled (for 4 dolla). It's the greatest thing I've heard in a long while (probably since I got Chemlab's East Side Militia). Think David Bowie glam rock fused with the synth and guitar sounds and structures of NIN's Broken. Killer stuff. | |||

| Frankly, the thing I look forward to most in SH4 is the soundtrack. SH3's is absolutely brilliant, and I expect this one will be as well. That said, having seen the trailer to SH4, I find it boring that I'll still have to attack annoying dog creatures. There should be times when you absolutely HAVE to run away. That makes it more tense and frightening. Those weird creatures that sort of glide along the ground, though...they're freaky. They look kind of humanly, but their limbs appear to be mangled, and the way they move around is bizarre. I love it. |

| The Dillinger Escape Plan with Mike Patton - When Good Dogs Do Bad Things Wild stuff. Patton's got an aray of different voices and styles on the song, and even sounds like he's rubbing his fingers along his lips at one point (which is probably what he's doing). |

| DKR is far superior to MK64 in every way imaginable. I think I like DKR even more than Super Mario Kart. I speak only truth. MK64 licks balls. |

Except that they still call Mega Man by the name of Rock (or so I recall from MM1, I think), and I think Bass is a cooler name than Forte. Goes along with Treble better. About Peach, in the beginning of Super Mario 64, she writes that letter and it says something like, "Signed, Princess Toadstool. -Peach" So, Peach is like...her nickname or real name. Princess Peach Toadstool. I think it makes perfect sense and it kicks ass, and so does Bowser, King of the Koopas, King Koopa, Bowser Koopa, whatever. |

| GameCube controllers crap out quickly. They're pieces of shit. I've had several screwy analog sticks and buttons that don't spring up. Recalibrating doesn't help if the controller's bust. And I have ancient SNES and N64 controllers that work perfectly. My N64 controllers I've used far more and far more aggressively than any of my GameCube ones. | I'd like to state that... special/limited/deluxe editions of CDs are the shit, yo. Whether it be bonus tracks, a 2nd CD (preferred), a DVD, a digipak casing instead of jewel case, whatever...they kick ass. By the way, Sam Goody (and any in-mall record store) is a lousy, lousy place to shop. Order online at bullmoose.com or something. (edited by Abnormal Freak on 06-15-04 12:03 AM) |

| Both of their CDs are excellent. It appears they're becoming real popular (if they aren't already). |

| I watched it on Saturday night and was pretty pissed off at how a good deal of the crappy comedians got voted to go on. Why the hell didn't Tony Woods get nominated? It was such bullshit. ...And I didn't see a single funny female. I'm not meaning to be sexist, but damn...all of them sucked horribly, and yet half of the nominees were women. |

| It's not pronounced "bass" like the fish. It's pronounced "base" like with bass guitar, etc., like someone else said. Come on, his dog is named Treble--bass and treble. Now, why in MM8 they once pronounce the name like the fish, I don't understand. |

| Awesome movie. Loved it. Better than the first. And I love the first! I loved how Raimi put some references in there to past movies...like when Doc Ock's extra arms are to be surgically removed, things get ballistic, and one arm is gripped around a guy's neck or head, and he sees...a chainsaw! Picks it up and tries sawing off the arm...I love it...Evil Dead II. : And Doc Ock's new laboratory makes me think of Darkman, when he builds his new lab in an abandoned factory. |

| I heard about the game from my cousin maybe two years ago. It sounded very interesting, and about a year later I'd seen it at Wal-Mart for like $30 but didn't go for it. Finally I saw it at Best Buy about a month or two ago, selling new for $15, and I just couldn't resist. It's a very short game, but I enjoyed it, even if the battle system is really, really lame. (It gets even more repetitive than Eternal Darkness--at least in that game you had magic and a few limbs to choose from to slash or shoot.) When I played it, I couldn't help but think of the castle as one gigantic Zelda: Ocarina of Time dungeon. It's stunning, really. Apparently the game designer is an architect, which leads me to believe that the game was only made to show off the guy's designs and make a real pretty experience, and even if that is the case, it works. Agreed, I LOVE that part with the windmill. The puzzles are fairly nifty. I had a good deal of fun getting past certain sections. I guess there are a lot of secrets in the game that I had missed, as they really weren't apparent to me. Supposedly there are side quests and the likes, which I should read up about to see how to get to them. : It's still going for $30 at the Forest Lake, Minnesota Wal-Mart. Those peckers... |

| Dickinson's voice is excellent. He's got great range and doesn't use this pussy-ass vocal style called falsetto. Instead, he really strains his vocals to reach those high notes. A good mix of slapping the vocal cords and resonating from your nasal cavities is what vocalists need to do. ; I might check out the dude's solo career. |

| Falsetto is just a fake voice. Men aren't meant to go that high. Bruce Dickinson still sounds strong. I'm sure he treats himself real well, and he ends up sounding a hell of a lot better than Geoff Tate of Queensryche. |
