| Well, their self-titled's pretty cool... I haven't listened to the new album, but I'll check it out sometime. Metalcore... It just keeps getting more exposure. Too much? Far too many crappy scenesters about. Oh well... No worse than the goths. |

| Saw the BBC version of Marv in there...which rules. Also think I saw Slartibartfast. I've only seen the TV series though...and from that, I can say that for the movie, I wish there had been more of the book's narration. Good movie overall. Like someone I know said, the pacing is a bit off...and they didn't explain the towel, but oh well. It also wasn't quite as radically funny as the BBC series, but funny nonetheless. |

| I think I'd heard months back that they had, but I can't find anything on it. If it's out in Russia, I wonder when it comes here. Also, if someone could, send me MP3s of the album? And of the Russian version of their first, if you can. :o |

| ALL of t.A.T.u.'s songs ought to be produced by Trevor Horn. His tracks are the best sounding ones on 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane. | |||

| Man... He produced Pet Shop Boys' "Left to My Own Devices". I kind of forgot about that. Opera dance pop! (edited by Abnormal Freak on 05-07-05 06:28 PM) |

| Only one of those bands I'd be interested in seeing is DEP, and I saw them some months back. Although I suppose seeing COB live would be pretty wild, even though I don't like their music too much. | |||

| His name's Grant Henry, and he's a totally rad dude. :o I haven't listened to the Metroid Metal stuff nearly as much as I should. I'd been waiting to hear the thing in its entirety, really, and now that the whole album's done, I've only listened to it start to finish about one time. :p I haven't even checked out the Super Metroid track(s)... |

| The new Pig Destroyer? Do you mean Terrifyer? Hell yeah it's good. Awesome grindcore right there...but I'm not really familiar with PD's other stuff, so I can't compare. (edited by Abnormal Freak on 05-09-05 10:55 AM) |

| I certainly do. Donkey Kong Country 2 has one of the best scores ever, and it was all done by Dave Wise. The first game also has incredible music; I imagine most of it was done by Dave Wise, but Robin Beanland and Eveline Fischer are credited as well, I think. (Unless they just supplied sounded effects and samples or something.) All superbly great tunes. The first two games have excellent soundtracks. DKC3, overall, I'm far less impressed with. I believe Eveline Fischer probably did most of the songs. The few songs that totally rule (the tree levels, the factory levels, and I think some others) were probably done by Dave Wise, 'cos they sound like his stuff, and they're far superior to the other tracks. Dave Wise, by the way, did the music for Battletoads. Freakin' rock on... Awesome theme song. (More impressed by the NES game's music than Battlemaniacs for SNES... Hell, everything in Battlemaniacs sucks compared to Battletoads, absolutely everything.) | Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels >>>>>> Snatch Snatch is a great movie, though. There's some other similar movie coming out... I think it's advertised as being by the producer of LS&TSB and Snatch. |

| Actually, Layer Cake is the movie I was thinking of. Note I said the producer of those other two movies. I did not know of Revolver. | |||

| Saw it. Liked it a lot. It makes up for Attack of the Clones anyway, and I'd say it's better than The Phantom Menace (which I like). Nothing much I really disliked about the movie... Certainly doesn't hold a candle to the original trilogy (that is, the untainted, non-special edition versions), but hey...those movies are magnificent, and I like models and puppets more than CGI. It doesn't make sense to me how [Uncle] Owen is as old as he is in Ep.II and III. Weren't there like 11 years or something between Ep.I and II? So if Owen's from that dude and Anakin's mum (which I assume is the case, because Owen is considered Ani's half-brother), why, in Ep.II and III, is he an adult? Hmmmm... Con-ti-nu-i-ty error. :o I didn't much like James Earl Jones' yell at the end. : (edited by Abnormal Freak on 05-21-05 10:00 AM) (edited by Abnormal Freak on 05-21-05 10:01 AM) |

| I thought that's what the deal was...but all I sees is a highly-acclaimed B-sides and rarities set called With the Lights Out. Is that what everyone was getting all excited about like a year ago? Meh, pfffft. |
