Check it out. Edits all sprite attributes with a convenient dropdown list for selection, and sprite data can be exported to a 20-digit hex code for copying or sharing. Includes some neat sprite creations.

Originally posted by JefF Weird, I put in an exception handler specifically to avoid doing that. ...Er, let's try un-commenting it. Alright, I uploaded a new version with that fixed, and a cool new feature that expands Lunar Magic. It doesn't do a whole lot at the moment, but it's pretty neat, and rather convenient. Also, here's a screenshot. The 'other stuff' will include pretty much all the little tweaks that LM doesn't cover, such as making fireballs go straight and enabling the debug features. I don't intend to add any sort of ASM editor though, that's rather complicated. |

The screenshot shows everything it can edit. There's still a lot of unknown stuff (and even some of the stuff that's not under 'unknown' is still not quite figured out, but did have a visible effect). If you can find the settings for Spin Jump, I'll add them, but I'm pretty sure it's just based on the other settings. If it can be jumped on it dies, otherwise you bounce. (The ASM takes care of things such as giving you a powerup if it's a Mushroom, Flower etc.) It looks to me like Yoshi jumping on them works exactly the same way as spin-jumping too, since it has the same effect. As for making them faster, you'll need to edit the ASM for that. (Dunno which bank it's in yet, though. ) |

That's not the idea. It's so that you don't need to carry around a bunch of CDs or memory cards, just dump them all onto your player. (Hell, I could dump my whole HD onto that thing twice and still have more than enough room for music. ) I assume you're looking for a portable system? (The word 'jukebox' implies a home system, but I don't think there are home iPods. ) I have a Panasonic SL-SX430, it plays MP3s from a CD. (You can use CDRW, of course. ) It's great, never skips, lasts for hours on a good pair of batteries, and it's almost waterproof. (It also has an awesome 'live' equalizer setting. The Inuyasha themes sound so cool with that...) Of course you only get 700MB per disc, but CDs are small. (I only have around 250MB that I really listen to anyway. ) BTW: The manual says you can't use Random mode for MP3s, but guess what? It works great. On the other hand, if you're looking for a home system, I would not suggest the Panasonic SA-AK410. I might have a bad one (I can't return it, my dad sent it from across the country for Christmas), but it's got a lot of problems. It skips the first second of most songs, won't play WMA even though it says it can, and the timer function is useless, especially as an alarm clock. (And really, what else would you use it for?) It comes on at a random time within about 20 minutes of what you set it for, just enough to make you late, and when it does the volume level is random, which means either you won't hear it or you'll panic at the sudden, very loud wakeup call. (And your neighbours won't be too happy either. ) It also skips a lot, and occasionally switches from Single Album to Entire Disc mode. (You can't switch it back without the remote, either.) If you don't mind all that, though, it's not too bad. |

Some interesting points, alright. Why did they take the films? (If I were those guys I'd have hidden a copy. ) When they were quoting people who said it sounded like a missile, they played a 'whoosh' sound. Was that the sound the supposed plane really made? Because that is definetely the sound of a missile. I've been on and around dozens of planes, I know what they sound like. Personally, I don't believe that terrorists really did crash a plane into the Pentagon. I'm not saying I don't believe they were involved... I figure one of two things happened: -The US government did it themselves, for an excuse to fight Iraq. This is supported by the fact that Iraq has oil and the US needs it, and of course the all-too-convenient outcome for the government. Thousands of Jews who worked in the towers stayed home, explain that? The towers weren't really an important government building, the part of the Pentagon that got destroyed was empty, and the plane bound for the white house didn't make it there. No loss to them. -Terrorists did hijack planes and fly them into the towers and send another toward the white house, but not the Pentagon. Instead, they were able to aquire or take control of either a US military plane or a missile, and used that to attack the Pentagon. The government tried to cover this up by claiming it was a fourth plane, because there would be mass panic if people knew that terrorists had been able to use their own defenses against them. (What's scarier, a terrorist hijacking a plane to use as a bomb, or a terrorist remote-controlling US missiles and/or having access to military jets?) I also wonder about the date... It happened on 9/11, and a lot of people would have been calling 911. Interesting coincidence, if it is one. |

<Originally posted by knuck Damn good idea. For a toolbar, maybe it could be user-defined? For each user you have a certain number of toolbar fields, and each one contains an image URL and a code. The output would be an image using the URL you specified, and when you click it it adds the code you specified into the post. (Of course there would be default entries for smilies, the stuff in the toolbar, etc.) That way you could upload your own smilies to whatever host doesn't suck (maybe ban tripod ) and add them to a toolbar. I've hacked up a simple setup like this using Proxomitron. Screenshot: That goes below the post textbox, and I just click one of the smilies and it gets added to the post. *clicks one* |

I agree with you on that one. Let's say someone posts a thread with all sorts of really great hacking info. 2 months later, it's on page 6 and someone else replies to it. It'd just get closed, no matter what the reply, which doesn't make a lot of sense. If they just posted "OMG THAT'S SO KOOL I WANNA BE 1337 LIKE U HH", then delete their post, which would send the thread back to where it was before. However, if they replied with useful information related to the thread, maybe adding to or correcting the original post, then by all means leave it there. Not only is it good information, but it also brings the older posts back for new hackers to see (or old ones to remember ).

Well there have been times that I accidentally hit Enter when the cursor wasn't in the textbox (which submits the post) or clicked Submit by accident, but then I just go back and edit the post. (I did post a few blank threads by accident, by hitting Enter when I was trying to type a ' in the titlebar. But I fixed them.)

For example (a problem I actually had a while ago): If (Value And (2 ^ Bit)) = 0 Then This means 'if Value && (2 to the power of Bit) equals zero'. However, if we remove the brackets: If Value And (2 ^ Bit) = 0 Then It now means 'if Value doesn't equal zero, and (2 to the power of Bit) equals zero'. Any time you just do 'If Variable', VB assumes you mean 'If Variable <> 0' or 'If Variable = True'. (True = anything except 0 or the word 'false', so they're really the same statement.) |

I don't think you can, but you might be able to open it in an ISO extraction program and fix it. (The problem is that it contains a byte-for-byte copy of your HD, so if you want to restore it to your HD, it needs to be exactly the same size.) It should compress really well though, try RARing or Zipping it at max compression. If nothing else works, you could just borrow a second HD with just enough space, and xcopy everything to it in DOS. I don't think you're going to fit a backup of any decently-sized HD on a single CD, though.

That always bugs me. You buy a big bag of chips, and it looks like it can hold probably 2 bowls worth. But then you open it, and it's only half full, so you don't get as much food as you expected and you still feel hungry afterward. BTW Ryan had it right, but he forgot to add 'Zesty Cheese Doritos >' to the front of his list. |

The About screen says 2.5, dunno about a B. It does seem to have some sound bugs though - that or my GBA does. I wrote a program that I can run on a real GB (I write it into a game's RAM with Codebreaker's memory editor), and it produced sound on NO$ (hex-edited into a save state ) but only barely-audible blips on the real GBA. I haven't tried it on any other emus because I'd have to figure out their save state format.
