If it were an invalid parameter, it would show an error message wouldn't it? Trying to use F8 didn't work; VB wouldn't respond to keypresses when it broke.

Just like whenever you buy electronic parts, they always ask what it's for. "Well you see, I'm bulding a bom-er, science project."

Like I said, edited resources. The Gamecube OoT has button icons replaced and text changed but it's still an N64 game.

I, for one, don't play demos, because I hate abrupt ends and having to wait. I'm sure the hack is great, though.

I need to get some schedule changes done too. It would seem quite a few things are severely fucked up. The so-called UFO, I think may have actually been the moon (I saw what was clearly the moon this morning, not too far from the sun, which I found way odd), but the fact that it was moving... It didn't look anything like a weather balloon. My computer class has all new computers but we haven't got to use them yet, the accounts aren't set up. He's already told us our assignment way in advance. I wonder if I get bonus points for handing it in several weeks early? |

Yeah, I tried that. I personally think it's a threading issue, or some such thing, but then I'd have to wonder how subclassing could even work without crashing.

I'd have to agree, self-closing windows and keyboard/mouse spasms are two completely different problems, which usually means a virus.

I'm trying to draw some graphics from a save state but can't get the colours to come out right. I have it as trrrrrgg gggbbbbb, is that right? And what's the t for?

I don't know what you're saying, but Donkey Kong Country has some forest backgrounds.

Nope, they're bits. I think the t might be a transparency bit where 1=totally transparent. Perhaps there's a problem with my code? This is how I read the colours: X = CLng(fData(i)) + CLng(fData(i + 1)) * 256 N64Colour = (X And 31&) + (X And 992&) + (X And 31744&) I've tried switching bytes in the first line and numbers in the second (if you're wondering about the numbers, check them out in Binary ), either way it always looks like this (3x magnified): The fact that it's half missing isn't a problem, the game just mirrors it. Just wondering if anyone had any good estimates (or if there's an official answer). Lesee... Kagome lives in the modern world, so that's of course 2004. Now when she spends 3 days in the past, she comes back 3 days later than she left, which tells us that the well does not link to a specific time period but rather 500 years previous to the current time. So that means she meets Inuyasha in 1504. For 50 years before that, he's stuck to a tree, so he got stuck there in 1454. Now, we don't know his actual age or aging rate, but he looks about 20 in our scale, and I would guess (both from various references to their rate and his breed) that he ages one year for every 7 of ours, which means he would have been 140 when he was stuck to the tree. So that means he would have been born in 1314 (just 10 years off from my first guess ), making him exactly 690 years old. ...Unless anyone else has a different answer? Well, if you really wanna get technical (which I don't), when he was stuck to the tree he was in suspended animation, so he wouldn't have aged. So his physical age would be 50 years less than the actual time from his birth to the current time. But that's just complicating things. |

I always thought that too. It just makes sense that if you blow up one side of a tower, that side loses structural integrity, and the top falls that way. This certainly didn't seem to be the case...

How would you do that? Have it run at a time when nobody will be logged on? |
