This happened to me when I first registered, I found it to be caused by Proxomitron filters. I would suspect Firefox blocking/not supporting some JS. It does a lot of hiding and changing frames and divs.

Do a full spyware/virus scan, remove any Explorer add-ons, and if need be reinstall Windoze. A DLL problem is most likely, though the EXE could be corrupted.

Yes, PNG has transparency. Not just colour/transparent either, you can set the opacity for each pixel.

XD! Princess Peach bares all! That's just hilarious. It goes the other way too. I noticed on the cover of the official Xbox magazine, they announced a playboy game. Soon magazines will be full of 3D rendered women and game characters will be real people. Watch, anim |

And they're translucent.Originally posted by Squash Monster Amen. BTW: I have an MP3 CD player. I put 200MB worth of MP3s on a rewriteable CD and away I go. It never skips and choosing songs isn't a problem. So HA. Of course, it didn't hold up too well to a whole lot of rain... |

OK, I just downloaded this (and YI 1.0) and am making notes as I go. -ROMNation's "vote or your rom won't work" thing is BS, just put in the number and hit download. -After opening a ROM once, the open dialog started where I left it. I think WinXP does that. -Pressing the arrow keys should scroll the level. -When the Object List Window is shown, the object list on the main window should disappear, making more level space. -Nice way to confirm clearing the level. -When switching back and forth between windows the object list window disappears. -Load/Save Level should be under File. -Either it won't switch to Screen Exit Mode, or the menu's not showing that it has. I see no difference. -The Small Grid and Transparent Wireblocks options pwn. -The Stationary Tooltip option is buggy, the tooltip flickers in its original position. It's also ugly. -After changing Zoom to 4x, then to 8x, the vertical scrollbar is disabled. Ono. -That startup message really isn't necessary every time, use the registry to save whether the program's been run before. -"Fetch Me A Badger". -The About screen really doesn't need a Cancel button. -When the program is first opened, neither Cross-Section Mode or Screen Exit Mode are checked. -The options, window size and number of badgers need to be saved, dammit. -The tooltips get cut off at the edge of the editing area. -The level number should be displayed in the title rather than the ROM name. (Ex: "Egg Vine - Level 00") -Resizing objects is touchy and seems to take a few tries. Getting the cursor right on the corner is a pain, and the object should be redrawn as it's resized. -I'm happy to report that the level was edited successfully. It's rather difficult, though, since the level itself looks nothing like it does in the editor. |

Actually that's not a bad idea. A while ago someone did a similar thing with Final Fantasy, releasing mini-demos in the form of save states. Since the states contained most of the data, you could play fine as long as you didn't leave whatever area you were in.

I just got this mouse because my old one sucked. It works nice, but the scroll wheel won't scroll Mozilla windows. Any ideas how to fix that? I've looked for updated drivers but all I found was an email.

Originally posted by Jesper I personally consider it a sort of standard. The first menu is always File, and the Load, Save and Exit options are always in it. This is true of 99% of programs I've seen. Originally posted by Squash Monster Well, yeah. It always has to be in one of those modes, doesn't it? It makes sense to always show which mode that is. |

Yeah, it actually had similar problems. If I just plugged it in directly, it'd scroll most programs but not Mozilla or VB. If I installed the programs that came with it and changed the scroll settings, those would work. (Some other programs, such as Lunar Magic, wouldn't scroll anymore, but I never use it with that anyway. ) This one, however, doesn't have the scroll settings option, so it does the same as the old one. [edit] Hey, I'm halfway there. If I close the mouse program, Mozilla will scroll, but VB still won't. (Out of the blue, though, the dropdown boxes in VB suddenly will either way, but the code still doesn't. ) (edited by HyperHacker on 09-02-04 04:30 PM) |

Indeed, the thing that I hate most about ROM hacking is people who refuse to share their findings. If some tard doesn't give you credit for your ideas, that's their problem and you can take care of it accordingly.
