So what, looking up a lot makes you psychic?  DID YOU KNOW THAT... Time is metric to the people who invented it. Originally, a day consisted of 12 hours, 120 minutes each. OK so how the hell do I actually register? It says 'invalid username' no matter what I enter. I managed to trace the JS and re-create the form on a local file without any of the verification BS, and I get a 404.  I tried using the main site instead, after about 4 pages of bull it asks how I want to pay. (Yeah, way to mention that anywhere else at all.) |

Had some fun, gonna upload to my blog later. I'd do it now but it's on my laptop (w00t!) whose hard drive just crashed. Yes, I finally got one, though it's an old P233 whose CD-ROM and floppy drives don't work. (It was gonna be thrown out, wonder why?  ) My cat's so happy to see me.  BTW: If you're ever going to be on a plane landing in Toronto at midnight, BRING A CAMERA. That had to be one of the most beautiful (and that's not a word I use often) sights I've ever seen, especially with the full moon. I just wish mine hadn't broke.

About 2 minutes when I just rebooted, I have a lot of programs in startup and a large HTML desktop image. If I hadn't removed a bunch of programs so my mom could use it while I was away without killing it, probably more around 2:20. |
For my laptop (Win98), about a minute, not counting the time to put in the startup password.

I don't use the same password twice. All are random, mostly 12-digit hex strings with extra characters thrown in. As a backup measure, I keep them all in an encrypted file. |

Pardon me for being a week late but I had an idea. Make custom board schemes. It'd work really simply, just add a field for a CSS file. Enter a file location and the board spits out a simple, plain layout that references the specified file, giving it whatever look you want. |
If you don't want to add another field, you could just make plain schemes, one per OS, that reference specific local files. The windows one could point to 'file://c:/acmlm.css', a Linux version would load one from /root or something. The problem with that, though, is if your HD isn't drive C, but I imagine most peoples' is.

I remember messing with QBasic in grade 4 too. I'd make programs that print endless strings of random numbers and fake error messages, and people would freak out. |
