Is there really a use for displaying the current date and time in a post? Most computers I know of that are capable of loading this board have a clock in a much more convenient place. Perhaps it should instead display the date/time the post was made. |

Yep, it's a new layout, and this time without a half-transparent GIF behind the text! (Because as I've found, Win98 sucks at drawing text that way. |
 ) The alignment of the actual text-box (I hesitate to call it that because it's not really a textbox, but what else?) may seem unusual, unless you're using 1280x1024, in which case it should make sense.  This is also the first online test, besides in my bio where it looks weird for some reason.  So, any comments? Complaints? Free money for me? (BTW: I've tested as low as 800x600 and in IE this time.  Might I just say IE's table borders are horrifically ugly.)

Well if you look at where it says "Post #902" in my header, I wanted it to say "Post #902, Created at [time of post]", but it seems to use the current time (which BTW is what the FAQ says). |

I know that's ugly but it only happens in big posts (such as this one). With a good computer, sure. The dual screens might eliminate full-screen mode unless you have 2 monitors though. (The touch-screen could be simulated with the mouse.) |

All tiles do that. It's more noticeable with Yoshi Coins because of so much transparent area around them. All you can do is put them on another layer, or make big square ones that replace their tiles with whatever should be below them when touched. |

Well here's the to-do list I PMed myself from school... |
-Kill the damn table border and make it work without one. -Get a more accurate translation for the left side. (Or, rather, fix it so it's right vertically.) -Kill the status pics, just trash the whole cell. -Change the BG to 'fade out' the stars to nothingness, so it doesn't look so cut off, and save it at lower quality/different format to make it smaller. And as of Kitten Yiffer's suggestion, move the BG to the bottom. Also something I thought up later trying and failing to get Win98 to display Japanese, turn it into a GIF.

I've done some tweaking as per your various suggestions. The BG is now aligned to the bottom to look more natural in long posts (I will NOT use a scrolling layout, hell, I don't even know how |
). I've faded it at the edges to blend more naturally into the black around it, and reduced the filesize by 77%. (For some reason I had Photoshop set to save it at max quality. ) It's a mere 89K now.The status images along the side are gone, the table borders eliminated, and the two random smilies (except the 'icon' in my titlebar) dead. I've done away with the ugly buttons in favour of links, since I'm no longer using an 'interface' style. The Japanese text on the left is now a transparent GIF, so those of you without Japanese/Unicode support can see it properly, and I fixed the lines as mentioned earlier. (I hope those were the right lines... )Oh, and as for the logo up there, I don't see any white border. Are you using WinXP? I know it does a better job of anti-aliasing, so maybe it's smoothed out....So yeah, here's the new version.

 has uber-annoying music.) In the afternoon, though, once I'm awake somewhat, it's generally alright. During the holidays, it's usually great, unless I'm with my dad, then it ranges from hell to alright, depending on the situation and how many of those damn brat kids are around.
