I hate you too. Anyway, here is a screenshot of Tetris Attack running in Snes9x. Notice the box with the translucent background and image at the bottom. This is acheieved using HDMA.

Now here is that same scene after I, as you said, "just push a button". Specifically, the '0' key.

Would you look at that? I turned HDMA off.

Oh and don't bother saying "well he said zsnes and ur using snes9x", because you didn't mention ZSnes. It may not have this feature, but it easily could. Despite your belief, HDMA is, in fact, "one of those features you can just push a button to turn off and on."

All the information you seek is located within this thread.

According to this document, 0x10000000 to 0x1FBFFFFF is the cartridge ROM area, which works out to about 250MB. Though there does seem to be a lot of mistakes in it.

If you have a nice sound card, you could just plug your PSX's audio output into it and record it using Audacity. ...You do have a PSX, don't you?

Yep. Now all you Windows XP users can have your uptime, HD/memory/CPU usage, and calendar on your desktop like you see in all them Linux screenshots. And that's not all! Click here to read the full feature list and download the program. (It's beta, BTW, so there's still some things missing... like an interface.

But it's still fully usable if you know how to edit the registry, and even if not, you can still get some basic use out of it.

)

BTW, yes, those colours do make the text hard to read, but they're optional. You can use whatever colours you want.
