SNES has 15-bit colour, 16-bit registers (switchable to 8-bit), and 24-bit addressing. The instructions are variable sizes.

I agree they could use more games like GTA, but the games they have now are fine for all ages. I'd just like to see more bullets flying and heads exploding.

OoT was probably the best game ever, even if it was really easy (and that's just relative to the rest of the Zelda games, there are certainly some hard parts to it). I couldn't stand WW, the levels were just annoying. Hard is good but there's fun hard and frustrating hard. Having to figure out a way to reach something or open a door is fun. Waiting inside a barrel for ages to sneak by a guard or trying to throw a pot full of water at some fire snake thing only for it to fall into the lava and come back to life is just very, very frustrating. (I managed to destroy a Wavebird on that one. ) Not to mention, this is the first two levels.

Long story short if this game's like OoT, I'm getting it.

Same here, except the books. Total BS, I say. You know there's a problem when your school forces you to do the same thing you'd get as an alternative to jail. You in Ontario by any chance?

Well let's see. 375 students at 6GB each = 2.250 TB. Unless you have a ~$2800 budget for this, something's gonna need to change.

For $300? I'd take it. Almost as good as what I have now, but in portable form.
$350 for a laptop with DVD... DVD alone's gonna be most of that, and it won't be a real good one.

as for clock speed...if the RAM is too slow, then it is understandable, but if the RAM is fast...then i dunno. I have put PC133 into a computer that uses RAM at PC100 level (my Dell p2-400)

That's what I'd have expected. Except one thing, mine is PC100, and it wouldn't work at all with PC133. It would start up and try to load, but XP would fail to find some files and Linux would crash. (Plus some video errors, which may or may not have been because of static buildup in my crappy video card. )
If there is a way to fix that, I'd like to hear it...

Realplayer? No thanks, I'm trying to avoid spyware.

I've heard this before and instantly knew it was a load of BS. First of all, that story doesn't make any sense. When I read it, they were drilling to make a well. If that's the case, why were they drilling NINE MILES into the ground? And why did they have microphonoes? Of course the drill went crazy, it hit an air pocket. As for the 'screaming' it sounded nothing like that at all. (I found an MP3 version. ) At 2000 degrees, what did they expect to hear? Heat escaping through the new hole, lava bubbling, rocks breaking, maybe even the microphone melting.
Not to mention, there's just no way hell would be a mere 9 miles into the Earth's crust.

I only have 50 bucks, and 45 of that I'm going to need when I get there. (I might be able to get a bit more, but not much.) Unless I somehow come across a huge wad of money, I can't just take a taxi or bus (not to mention that it's a 3 hour drive).

Oh, and for all the other anim

Actually yes, it does. 80 bucks for a round trip. Besides, I already found a solution. May as well close this thread.

And BTW, to answer your question, it's some hick town in the middle of nowhere.

1) Make small notes on important points.
2) Stick them in sleeves, under books, etc.
3) Review them during the test.

But seriously, I rarely study, and still get good marks. (Except for some classes *cough*english*cough* but that's not because of tests. )

Well you could just make it an option; specify a time zone or automatically detect it. And yes, it's possible to get the time with Javascript. I think you use the Date object.

That's probably why. Now, for $1200 you can get the 1TB hard drive mentioned earlier, so 2 of those, a 200GB and a 50GB will be just enough for all that (but you might want to just get 2 200GBs as well so there's space for staff and system files). It's still gonna cost quite a bit though, and that's not including the stuff you'll need to get it actually working. (Plus you'll need a rather fast server/LAN if you're going to be using huge files like that.)
