I think WMVs are encrypted. Personally, I suggest just finding a better source, and if possible, stabbing anyone who uses them. |

Ah, neat. This is certainly a good start. You might just find this menu, if it still exists, by screwing with these addresses. Otherwise, you'll need to see what the game does with the number it reads from them. (I'd love to try, but I need to go to bed soon, and I'm leaving for a week or so tomorrow. |

This is why you should back up before applying patches (especially to an edited ROM), doing hex work, or using potentially unstable programs. |

Most recorders will, just select Stereo Mix as the input. It's still not major quality, since I think it's just a physical connection between input and output, but it's a hell of a lot better than you'd get with a microphone. |
Also, I recommend Audacity for recording and editing sounds.
