Well it is a beta, they probably haven't got around to multi-CD versions and removing the unneeded stuff yet. However, the "re-opening" of security holes (how is that even possible?) and basing everything on .Net is completely retarded.

I rearranged my room a bit a while ago, and found that the best placement of the TV was in the corner, and one of the stereo speakers goes right on top of that. However I noticed today that the TV really doesn't like having that speaker there. Where it should be showing a solid blue image, there's a big green blotch whenever I put the speaker on it. I don't use that TV much, though, so I'm wondering. If I leave the speaker sitting on the TV when it's not turned on, will it cause any damage?

I've only done the level 1 test so far, and I was one question away from failing.

It's no real problem. The only security 'issue' it presents is that people can find out where the admin stuff is, and they could just as easily download 1.A3 and look for themselves. Also: Admin control panel lolz |

No OS I know of would assign memory that low. That area's generally reserved for the OS or BIOS. OSes usually reserve the lowest memory addresses for themselves.

Yeah, luckily (or not?) so far that's the only such dream I know of to date. I actually find sex dreams at all are pretty rare. |

When that happens it means the sound data is being streamed to the SPC chip, a few milliseconds at a time. So when you try to dump it, you only get the current millisecond of music. How exactly do people make SPCs out of those? I imagine it involves creating your own SPC file, but wouldn't they take up more memory then the chip has? (Or else why stream them in the first place? ) |

Glitches like that usually mean your computer's not powerful enough for the game. You might get better results by running it in a low resolution in fullscreen or closing unneeded programs (maybe even using safe mode).

SMAS and SMAS+W should be identical except for some changes to the menu and of course the SMW ROM stuck on the end. It's basically a legit multicart; a menu at the beginning and the ROMs all lined up after it.

All looks good. I LOVE what you did in Mondo. In the ghost house, though, I'm not sure I like the idea of walls you have to go through, unless there's some hint as to which ones you can and can't. Could be something really simple like putting a Goomba near them, but it needs something.

Hm, I forgot about that. I guess if you shifted the layer up and down like a sine wave every scanline, you could make such an effect. Though good luck getting Mario to move with it, though... you'd just have graphic distortion; the physical layout wouldn't change.

Imagine how pissed the other 1999 players would be when their game gets interrupted because some moron tripped over the plug. And I don't even want to THINK how chat would work. (edited by The Crimson Chin on 07-30-05 06:51 PM) |

Who found? That's been in my image list for a while now. What's this I keep hearing about RAM banks though? N64 doesn't have banks. Also why do the textures look so much better in raw form than in the game? |
