| Ooh, I recall one in Banjo-Kazooie. In Click Clock Wood you're supposed to dump eggs in a hole to make a flower grow. I forget exactly when, but if you do it at a certain time (I think you do it when the flower's already grown, or in a different season) the game will glitch up. | You don't really need a fancy site for a hack. Just some images and a link will do fine. In a lot of cases you can even just hotlink them and not bother making a page. | |||

You could just put those links other pages, with one or two links to them. That's how mine's set up; a basic navbar at the top (with Javascript menus for instant access to any page, or HTML pages for those with crappy browsers) and a page of links stuffed in there somewhere.  |

| If your modem uses USB, you should replace it. Probably the easiest method is to add a wireless card to your computer, allowing your laptop to connect through it. If you can find a router with both wired and wireless connections that would probably be better as you wouldn't need the computer to be on all the time. Just don't use the default security options (change your SSID, for one) if you don't want people browsing your HD and mooching off your connection. |

| I'm just surprised they didn't give it some 2-letter or numeric name. Where's Windows FZ? Seriously, though, I can't see myself 'upgrading' to this anytime soon. I can tell just from the screenshots it's a huge resource hog. What's up with that sidebar, it takes up like a quarter of the screen for an analog clock and image slideshow. Totally useless. The interface is also ugly. But really, none of that concerns me much... It's DRM that I'm worried about. Anyone remember Palladium? I can manage my own rights just fine, thank you very much. Personally I'd rather be using Linux anyway, but I haven't got around to getting it running yet. I suppose I should, but I can't until I get this damn board replaced which is taking way long. But I digress... I'll probably stick with XP, Windows-wise, until people develop hacks/mods to get rid of a lot of the bloat and that DRM crap. MS needs to cut the fancy crap and pretty graphics and make a really stable, functional, powerful OS. Windows is so limited unless you hack it to bits... |

This is the one I'm trying to buy right now, if I could find people who sell the parts.
Excluding the HD (since I already have it) and burner (not buying it just yet) that's a decent system for $250 Canadian (~$200 US), if you shop around a bit.  Now the problem is finding a place that sells these parts and doesn't suck... (Haven't tried ZipZoomFly yet, gotta wait for some stuff to be back in stock.  I'm a bit wary of their look, though... they spelled motherboard wrong.  ) For $800-1000 you could probably get a really nice system... 64-bit CPU, craploads of RAM, etc. Hard drives will really run you though. Mine was $300 (but it was a Christmas present  ). Of course, when it was bought it was probably the biggest, fastest HD you could buy, and bought at Future Shop, so yeah. (Well aside from ridiculously-priced ones that are like 500000RPM and 50TB. )[edit] $100 US for shipping? I think we can cross this one off the list of sources. | One thing bugs me about FCEU... Escape quits the program, no prompt or anything. On every other emulator I know of, it shows the menu. Way annoying. Also, F4 goes fullscreen as opposed to Alt+Enter. How about some standard key combos? |
