Just curious if anyone knows of anything that attracts spiders... Like some sort of scent or sound? |

Ah, well, that's why you check what's on the disc before you burn it. |

Get her to install Linux, then. |
The hard drives won't all slow down. You know how there are two different cables (two channels) each with two connectors on them; the two on each cable will run at the speed of the slower one, not affecting the other cable. (Hence why you generally put your fastest HDs on one, and a slow one and a CD-ROM on the other, or if you only have two put them on separate cables.)

I think only the download on page 1 of the thread contains all the files you need. |

Translhextion and/or Hex Workshop. Workshop is far better but lacks table support and isn't free. |
Hexecute is also good for quick edits, but it leaks memory like a swiss cheese fish tank. (edited by HyperHacker on 07-11-05 01:44 AM)

Keh, I just ate most of a large stuffed-crust pizza. I don't think I have any more room for pizza today. |

Stability: My policy is it works perfectly (as best I know) or it doesn't get included. |
New moves: Unlikely; All but 3 of the slots for moves are used up, and to add more would require massive re-coding. Would be easy to do if I had the source code, but near impossible with just a ROM. There's memory restrictions to worry about too. Cheapness using items: I fully intend to tweak things here and there to avoid people (including AI) being cheap as much as possible, and not just with items. Fortunately G/S was never too bad in this, unlike Ru/Sa. I'll probably divide items into categories (eg: healing, stat boosts, etc) and make restrictions based on that. I'd be interested to hear any combinations you can think of, though. Abilities: This was one of the things I disliked most about Ru/Sa. Things like Volt Absorb, especially combined with the off-the-wall type combinations, make it nearly impossible to plan a strategy, because you can't even begin to guess what type your enemy is, and using certain attack types may only heal the opponent.

There is no indication of a tileset's size. Each tileset contains 96 compressed 8x8 tiles (some aren't actually compressed, but still stored as if they were). Metatiles (the ones the maps are made of) can be from 0 to 255, there's no real defined limit. (Just don't use/edit the garbage tiles and you'll be fine. ) Keep in mind that metatile #0 gets replaced with whatever you define for the map's border tile. |

Mark 8 doesn't work at all IIRC. Always make sure you use the latest version. |

Well this is the second time I've had to change my order at tigerdirect.ca because their items keep going from 'in stock' to 'not available' without any notice whatsoever. (And not just 'waiting for new shipment', rather 'we don't sell that anymore'.) I keep having to downgrade CPUs because the ones I want are suddenly becoming unavailable, and anything better would mean a better motherboard, which is going to put me way over budget. Does anyone have any advice on ordering from them, or know a better place that will ship to Canada and accepts cheques or money orders? (Canadians use computers too, dammit. *shakes fist at Newegg*) |
In case it helps, what I'm looking at is an AMD CPU, somewhere around 2ghz, and 256MB of RAM or more. (The items in particular are M452-2522, M56-4901 and CP1-SEM2400 C, and I have about $310 Canadian to spend, including all shipping and taxes and crap.) If I can get a more powerful system for that price, maybe this wouldn't be such a big issue, but I can't see that happening.

Hm... You mean to say in ZSnes it keeps randomly pulling to the right? I have this problem with my Saitek P880, with or without their software/drivers. It works fine in other programs, though, but nobody else has ever mentioned having this problem. |

Alright, well if everyone really wants to know... Spider trap. I don't want to repel them out of my basement, because then they'll go all over the place. |

And yes, you got here by too much porn. It's a lot like the end of time in Crono Trigger. You'll have to delete some of your porn and go through the Forum Jump again.

Those are still just the 1824 objects. Trees might be another list. I would think they only need an X/Z location and object ID, they can place themself on the Y location so as to always be on the ground. Goombas do that. |
