Alright, that got it (though it required some trickery since I booted off a floppy) but this drive won't read CDRW.  Any way to tell if a particular one will without trying it? |

| One thing you can do for porn is to just keep a maximized Notepad window open. Open up a big file and when someone walks in, switch to it and start typing something. Notepad redraws uber-fast so it hides the screen very well. ...Not that I look at porn or anything.   |

I think only IE supports opacity anyway. IE-only code, especially on a board with a majority of Firefox users, == teh bad. |

Well I created this dialog from a resource, with nothing on it, and it worked fine. Stuck in a child window (also nothing on it, but with horizontal and vertical scrollbars) and all was well. After adding some static textboxes to the main dialog, though, the windows no longer recieve WM_KEYDOWN messages. |
 Plus even when they did, it would beep whenever I pressed a key... how do I get the keys working again and not beeping?[edit] Also, it seems only the child window is getting WM_MOUSEMOVE messages... Heh, I always wanted to just put on certain songs while I'm waiting at a red light. One that starts out with the typical ridiculously-heavy-bass but slowly fades into the Bubble Bobble theme, or one that sounds a bit like rap at first but is actually Jpop that ends up not sounding like rap at all. |
