I was planning to get one of these at some point, and so I'm rather curious as to what sort of things hackers have been able to do with it. Is it possible to replace the ROM or access the memory card through DS code? And without being hacked, what size/brand memory cards can it use and does it support playlists? (Maybe I won't even need to hack it. )

I've figured out the basics of how to use a list box in C, but nowhere on Google or MSDN can I find info on how to use a multi-column box. The only functions I see listed are for setting the column width. So... Eh, you can guess what I'm going to ask.

Hm, that seems to be related more to a list view than a list box. (I'd like to use a list view, but I can't find one in my dialog editor. )

If it's really necessary, I could fake the columns with tabs, but I can't get tabs to show up either. It just ignores them. (I can do it no problem in VB though, so it should be easy enough.)

Hell, I keep mine all written down but still tend to forget them sometimes (for some reason they just won't be there ). Anyway, since the passwords are encrypted, there's no way to determine what it was (unless you have a spare computer and a few weeks to crack it), but an admin can change it for you. (A 'reset password' function shouldn't be too hard to do, though; just change the password to something random and email it to them.)

Include some sort of passcode in the link? (Like your password, but not actually your password; some sort of random number assigned to you. Maybe your IP, I dunno. )

That's odd... 8000x8000 is big sure, but something like 8001x1 wouldn't take up too much memory.

If you can't work with the palettes being different, you can always just change them to be the same. Make sure you save the palette file though so you won't have to do it again next time.

Apparently not.

Hmm... So if you make an account with no password, you can post and such like normal, but you can't edit your profile/layout/etc? That would be perfect for a guest account!

Hmm, good point. I just tested it and the feed for a staff forum will only load if I'm logged in (not even if I log in with that User Name account someone made a while back), so there must be some form of verification at work.

Oh my god! You want to kill The Brothers Chaps! Strong bad wouldn't like that.

Well alright, sites designed only to show off Flash content are exempt (be pretty stupid to go to one without it)... but HTML versions would still be a good thing to have. I, for one, have all Flash blocked until it's requested (via link ) so sites like that can be a pain to use.

I got the LBS_MULTICOLUMN part. As for tab stops, isn't that just for whether you can focus it by pressing Tab?

Any idea how I could manually add a listview in the code? There must be like a window class or something I would use.

[edit] Heh, you were right, tab stops does refer to the tab character. I managed to get the list view working anyway though. Don't suppose anyone knows how to make it highlight the entire row instead of just the left-most item? Or how to enable column rearranging?

Also, how can I get some sort of notice when a window is created or destroyed? My program is monitoring the status of several windows of a certain type (reading things from their controls and such). Currently it does this by just going through all the windows and picking out the ones it needs to read every second or so, but this of course takes a lot of CPU power. Keeping an internal list of them isn't too difficult except that it needs some way to know when a new one appears. I tried using a shell hook but it only told me when my window had focus; it says something about being restricted to libraries.
