Not everyone has a WAN IP... It's simple enough though. 127.0.0.1, 10.* and 192.168.* are network addresses. (So next time someone says their IP is 127.0.0.1, laugh at the n00b. |
 )Anyway, changing your IP isn't as easy as it seems. There's a few ways... -Ask your ISP. They might do it, but they'll probably want to know why and might charge for it. -If you can use a manual configuration, keep guessing until you find one that lets you in. -Use a proxy (though it'll probably be WAY slow) or hack into a network. -Some peoples' IPs just change every time they log on, such as AOLers... They tend to find themselves banned from places just because they have a sucky ISP though.  I'm not sure this board even has a cookie ban... Might be possible though.

Jeez, sign me up. About damn time someone decided to clean up some of the crap on the Web. They need to branch out from just fraud sites though. I can name a few legit but horribly crappy sites *cough*tripod*cough*experts-exchange*cough* the world would be better without. |

Sometimes I go a while without checking, but it'd be nice if there was a quick way to check for new messages. Plus it could really work well with an RSS reader that tells you immediately when the content is updated. |

Yes, but you need to use a program designed to burn that specific format. Don't just drag and drop it onto the disc. |

A dynamic IP might cause trouble, but it's hard to say. Mine's dynamic but only changes like once a year. |

I'd go with at least 1.5ghz and 256MB. You might get away with less depending what you use it for though. |

Other than that it's mainly just "xxx sucks" and "call xxx for a bj" or whatever. Writing things is fun though, like using the school's number in those 'personal ads', fake warnings about how school kills brain cells, or tic-tac-toe games. Sure, except that it doesn't work on any phone made in the last 10 years and needs to be much higher quality than you can get recording it with a tape recorder. |
