We already have more than enough nukes to blow up the planet. Why make bigger bombs? Though using it as an energy source in things that don't explode might be good...

That's not the only problem. Consider:
PHX
RTS
How does your tracer know where that's going to end up? The only real way I can see to do it accurately is to actually emulate the game.

Better to go through a few pages of that than have to track down a bunch of different threads for slightly different things.

MP3 decoding could be possible, but wouldn't you need a lot of free RAM to stick the raw data in?

My dad always loved to play Final Fantasy with me, though I was too young to be any good at it. Nowadays he always talks about how video games are 'evil' (mainly because they're Japanese ) but still plays them all the time.

Name: Eric Bannon (HyperHacker)
Age: 17
Sex: Male
Skills: Programming, ROM hacking, computer repair, damn good grammar
Highest level: Local mod
Forums:
-Hardware/Software; I'm experienced in several aspects of computer design, hardware and software, and programming.
-Super Mario World Hacking; I know how to use Lunar Magic and other related utilites rather well, and what kind of things can and can't be done, without answering everything with 'use ASM'. Newbies often look to me for help with the game.

Recommendations: Kasumi-Astra, Darkflight, BMF54123, Kitten Yiffer
Reasons:
I usually make a point of checking the board every day, or at least every two days. At minimum, I make sure to check HW/SW, SMW and the staff forums. I know how to do things and how not to do them, and am always willing to discuss any disagreement with my decisions. I always ensure that any crucial evidence (such as posts, private messages, etc) to an offense is left intact. Security is one of my main concerns; whenever I see a suspicious-looking thread I view its source code before actually opening it to ensure no malicious scripts will be triggered. I often look for exploits, testing them on other peoples' boards where I have permission to do so and reporting any findings in the staff forums. Any suspicious activity is immediately archived in screenshots and/or copies of the page. I also make sure to keep my browser up-to-date to prevent such exploits from working whenever possible. When a problem arises I do everything in my power to help, and if I can't, contact someone who can. In November 2004 I single-handedly categorized several bugs and potential security flaws, many of which I discovered myself, which prompted almost immediate repair by Jesper and other admins.

I have AIM open anywhere from 3 to 8 hours almost every day (none of that private list crap) and notification within 2 minutes of recieving an e-mail, so contacting me is usually no problem. All contact info can be found in my profile. I make sure to respond ASAP so that if nothing else, you at least know I got your message. I also check private messages regularly. While I do like to have fun with people, I take my work very seriously. I've been a moderator and/or admin at several forums and websites and have always been a respected member of the community. I have several years experience moderating many types of communities, from small unfriendly groups of a few people to large and active boards like this one. People are often impressed with my initiative and ability to solve problems. I always ensure my areas of jurisdiction are kept neat and tidy and that its users are satisified as much as possible. Spam is not tolerated.

When it comes to computers, I definetely know my way around. I personally have designed several software applications for everything from ROM hacking to opening the CD drive, repaired and upgraded several computers of various ages, and done things to the school networks that left the technicians scratching their heads. If something's not working right chances are I can fix it. I also do some hobbyist electronic work. I have several years of experience in HTML, Javascript, Visual Basic, C, and Assembly and some knowledge of PHP. People often ask me about their computer problems and rarely leave disappointed. I've even fixed bugs in some Nintendo games that the original programmers overlooked. I tend to think like a computer myself. My typing speed and ability to understand computers amazes most people. Not to mention, I've written Game Boy programs using nothing but a Game Boy, pen and paper.

I also have much experience in the field of Super Mario World hacking. I have developed several custom ASM modifications for the game. I am very familliar with the various hacking utilities available, and know what the SNES/LM can and can't do. When someone asks about something that can't be done, I make a point of explaining exactly what the problem is rather than simply flaming them for not knowing. I routinely organize and categorize various hacking information, frequently asked questions, and useful hints into threads for easy access. When someone asks a question about Lunar Magic, I make absolutely sure of the answer by checking it out myself. I have also released a number of utilities such as a sprite editor and memory address list maker. I often comment on peoples' hacks, pointing out what good and bad things their screenshots display. When someone posts an incorrect link or a bad image, chances are I'll fix it. I can even host peoples' files myself when the need arises. And perhaps most importantly, it takes more than flashy graphics and Super Mario 3 music for me to consider a hack good.

Most laptop parts are pretty much custom-made for the computer in question. I wouldn't even count on swapping it with another laptop.

Firefox is awesome, yes. IE sucks, yes. But people who are all "OMGF FIREFOX PWNS CUZ ITS NOT M$ LOL" are just a pain. At least provide real reasons (eg built-in tabs, better security, removability). Also, just wanted to point out that there are add-ons for IE that implement a simple tab system. FF's is just better (and comes with it).

Because a browser with no security flaws whatsoever would be perfect which is essentially impossible. Mushrooms rot, and people would want to take Uma out of the holes, opening them up again.

BTW, that Wordpad hole... Does it affect systems without SP1/2? I don't see it mentioned on the site.
