If enabling sound crashes things, then yeah, you probably have sound problems.  I don't think No$GBA or BGB use DirectX while most of those others probably do, so I'd look at reinstalling that first... |

Link's Awakening, what a glitchy game. I remember finding out that I could pick up and throw pieces of the forest.  Also in Zelda OoT, I once tossed a chicken into the water down at the bottom of Gerudo Valley... it walked right off a waterfall, and just kinda hovered. I found a lot of little things like that in OoT, most of them are written down somewhere... (See, I actually write these things down instead of just forgetting them. )I actually found a secret code in my alarm clock once. If I held a certain button combination, it would display the seconds counter... Seems like a rather odd thing to have a secret in. |

| Nevermind, DOS is just weird. Instead, maybe someone can tell me why findfirst() isn't working no matter what search pattern I give it? It always just returns -1 and blanks out the ffblk struct. | Tanooki Mario is like an upgrade to Raccoon Mario though. It's similar, but more powerful. Bunny Mario would be cool though. Jump high like the frog (maybe higher), but walk and swim normally. |

| Regarding not having room for sound effects, you could probably get away with omitting some. Also, does it have to always use a specific bitrate? I'd probably be using mostly music from other games so it wouldn't have to be especially high quality, which could save some ROM space. And what about the original SMW music; can you play that too? | |||
