Hm, well I did manage to trash them all (empty anyway |
 ) and create a 5GB partition from the installer, finally... That went fine but now Windows absolutely refuses to see the proper disk size. This was a problem at first but installing the update Q331958 fixed it before, but this time I've installed it at least 10 times and rebooted countless times and it won't do anything.  The disk manager still shows 128GB no matter what. Changing BIOS settings doesn't help either (and I didn't have to last time).[edit] Oh sure, fill it with partitions in Linux and NOW it recognizes it.  I'll leave this open though because I'll probably need help woth something else in a few minutes anyway.  Actually, come to think of it... -Is it at all possible to change the drive letter of the drive Windows is installed on? This lettering scheme sucks. -Can I force Windows to send deleted files to a certain drive's recycler? Those 'freeze' programs are useful, but generally pretty easy to get around. I usually don't bother though. Keeps the spyware out. Heh, my school's network is completely messed right now. It thinks I'm only using half as much space as I really am (yay) and won't let me into some of my files (boo).  They forgot to disable streams again though, hehe. Still not as fun as when they forgot to set a size limit entirely though. Of course idiots blew it by installing 200GB worth of games and such.

You could play an RPG alone with that I guess. I used to do that with Gameboy Colour, hold it in one hand and play RPGs with just one thumb. |

Also SFX would have been used for any sprite rotation, so not just boss battles. There's a few levels with rotating sprites, the pause screen, etc...

Only problem is that SMW's physics are nowhere close to Sonic's... and the music is different... and the SNES doesn't have any native sprite rotation system (for the loops) meaning you'd need to use some sort of expansion chip which are very sparsely documented. (Or a big, slow, math-heavy ASM hack.)

Just a little tweak that'd make it look better. Adjusting sprite priority might not even help though... If it's above his face, it'll be above his hands too. |

I had a similar problem today... I reinstalled Windows and thus Firefox, and at first it worked, but after a few reboots the entire interface stopped responding. |
I fixed it by renaming the old profile and opening it again so it would create a new one. Kills all your settings, but I didn't have any anyway.

That's probably it, but if you're using XP, you should also make sure BSODs are enabled so you can see WTF is wrong. Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Startup and recovery, uncheck 'Automatically restart'. If it's a system error, it should give you an error code which you can look up on microsoft.com (usually only the first 2 numbers are important, like '0xC000005E STOP (0x12345678 whatever)' but write them all down in case you need specific details). If that doesn't come up, it's probably a heating or power supply issue. (Or shorted reset button. |

Corn is damn fast, and graphics seem good enough to play at least. My computer sucks at 3D but the graphic problems I see with it are also in all the other emulators. |
