Problem: Crappy host.
Suggested solution: Get a better one.

Anyway, it basically looks like about 5 minutes worth of MSPaint work. Needs more detail. Also, try using Alt+Printscreen for screenshots.

Well, SNES uses 15-bit colour AFAIK. So something like this should work:
S = (B & 31) ^ ((G & 31) << 5) ^ ((R & 31) << 10)
where S = SNES colour. ^ means XOR (you could use add, but XOR is faster ) and << means left-shift (multiply by 2; eg x << 5 means x multiplied by 2 5 times).

Well hopefully you got the program here, since that's the only place I recall it being hosted with my permission. (Unless it was directly linked to in a thread. ) At the bottom of the description for the first program on that page is this link to the runtimes. (I need to re-design the site, I know. ) If that's not it, then you can do what you should do whenever a program tells you you need a specific file: Google it!

His balls drop to a specific height, because the platform in the last battle is actually a sprite so they can't do collision detection. If someone could hack them to do proper collision detection with layers 1/2 (maybe disabling the 'stop at x height' for all levels except the last battle), that'd be awesome. Then we could all play with Bowser's balls.

Looks nice. Love the OW border (besides the sprite, I assume you'll be fixing that ). Only 3 problems I see:

1) Title screen kinda sucks. If nothing else I suggest putting the 3 in the center. Ripping SMB3's would kick ass.
2) Getting rid of the item box's box is kinda confusing, making it look as though there were an actual item there.
3) Some scorebar colour problems.

The rest looks awesome.

There was obviously no way in hell they were going to use a 'no dead pixel replacement' policy against Nintendo's 'single dead pixel replacement' one. I probably wouldn't care much though. My DS has 2 and I only ever notice them when the screen is all black anyway, so meh. It tells me if it's actually turned off or not.

But then, I had no plans to buy a PSP anyway.

I need a program for creating dialogs and such. NOT editing them within an existing program. I've been looking ever since I started doing stuff with C, and I just can't seem to find one. Parasyte linked to one, the download link didn't work and he hasn't commented on it since. I also found one called 'Resource Builder' after about 355367 Google searches, very nice but it doesn't make the actual header files I need to use them. If I didn't know better I'd swear it was some sort of conspiracy. Why is something so simple so hard to find?
