*Gets a little screenshot-happy and adds 64 CCS wallpapers* Whee. Brings it up to a total of 113 files, and there's still other shows to do. I fear to think how much RAM that's using though...

Also might I say that movie had some frickin nice shots of the city at night. Must be pictures or something. Have to be pretty damn bored to draw all that by hand. (*is a sucker for night-shots of big cities*)

Not much really.

-Learn Japanese and go take an extended vacation there, if not moving there entirely.
-Get into professional game design and/or programming, whether that means starting my own business or working for some company.
-Go skydiving.
-Buy some kinda really nice convertible and go for a big long road trip.
-Finish some of my hacks and programs!
-Whiz on a few gravestones.

No particular order, just whatever.

Man, this guy moves slow! The grammar is obviously intentional, though it probably would have been acceptable for some games back then. Anyone ever read the manual for Final Fantasy? They must have screwed something up every 3rd page.

It doesn't seem like something that should be an issue. Maybe it's a matter of timing issues or multiple threads. I can see how it might screw up if you grabbed the key-data say once every second instead of once every however many instructions, but that's just a stupid way of doing things.

NICE. Does this fix the slow custom block code too? (Particularly with layer 3 water enabled. )

I dunno about making a program to change all the jumps though. It'd have to be able to tell code from data.

Also if anyone knows how to spawn a sprite, how about a block that spawns P-switches?

Tsk tsk, all-caps thread titles.
Layer 1 objects can only move 16 pixels at a time, or move the entire layer (which seems to be rather unreliable in SMW), so I really don't think you're going to get anywhere with this idea.

It uses a special mode which basically keeps Mario's speed locked for a few seconds. There doesn't seem to be any way to send him off in other directions, and I'm not sure how to specify how long he flies.

[edit] For now, some things d4s pointed out in an older thread:
-Change $5002 to 0 to disable L/R scrolling.
-Change $0854 to #$C0 to completely disable the L and R buttons.
-The controller routine starts around $850.
I think he was working with a headerless ROM. The L/R scrolling byte was for without one, but I changed it to the proper address for a ROM with a header.
