 ) It was alright on XP thanks to the better-looking fonts, but in Win98, UGH! (I didn't actually see it in Win98 for a good while.)Also you can probably get MNG plugins for most browsers. Problem is everyone who sees it will need one.  Anyway, it looks really good. I'm rather surprised you managed to put a Santa hat on an 11x11 sprite and have it look good.

That's like saying you shouldn't use cars at all, because if they break down it could be dangerous. You can't base the quality of a product on the performance of a defective model. |
It's a good concept though. A lot of cars will sound a buzzer any time the key is in but turned off. They should just use that to control the door lock, so that the door won't close if the key is in and the engine/electrical system isn't running (usually you can turn just the electronics on by turning it back one click). So you get out and forget the key, door stays open. You get in, and once you've actually started the engine you can close/lock it.

Alright, lemme try again anyway... The problem is that you're using Internet Explorer which is a horribly-coded piece of crap. I suggest you use Mozilla which has almost no bugs and none of the critical security holes. If you're too stubborn to switch, then sorry, I don't know how to fix IE. There, is that better, your highness?

Isn't it possible to use RAID to join HDs, so that the OS sees it as say one 20GB HD instead of 2 10GBs?

Bah, this isn't doing it. It's a far better quality (doesn't sound like a really old tape anymore ) but there's this nasty buzzing sound I can't seem to get rid of. I'm trying to record from my Gamecube using the following hookup:GCN -> Stereo -> Computer -> Headphones (I'd bypass the stereo altogether if I had a female A/V to stereo jack cable, but noooo). I'd also like to record from the stereo itself at some point. (Making a big jump, tape to MP3. ) Any suggestions? The Gamecube itself sounds good this way (but REALLY quiet), but the recording, after being amplified to 20DB to make it actually hearable, has that damn buzzing. Though I did find a way to exploit the Gamecube's anti-piracy system to get a clean recording from Mario Kart (no engine sounds OR the pause sound): Open the disc cover when the timer is at less than one second (which is when the music starts), then pause at >1 second before the "close the damn door" message comes up. Since the music is streamed it won't play while the lid is open, and once you close it (after the verification which takes a whopping 8 seconds!) the music starts well after the pause sound has stopped. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
