Staying up late, for me anyway, has a drug-like effect like pot. It starts off that you get giddy and EVERYTHING is funny (I must have laughed for 10 straight minutes at "TEH DIE HAX0R "). Then things get crazier and crazier until you start hallucinating arounf 70 hours. (Nothing special, just that the white walls looked like curtains and such. I thought I was in a palace in the sky. On the toilet. )

I do sleep in class sometimes, usually not intentionally, I'm just really tired. Sometimes if I know I need sleep and it doesn't seem like they're doing anything really important I'll just put my head down and nap for a while.

My only concern is overpopulation. We're running out of space it is, and the average human female has a time span of about 50 years to produce children. (Pretty much guessing though. ) Now extend that to like 950 years... KABOOM! I had always thought of this as applying to immortality, but could apply here too. Basically, we'd run out of space in mere minutes. People die almost twice a second, that's a lot of space no longer being freed up.

It also brings up a question... They say that we won't get all old and frail at ~80 like we do now, the timespan would be more stretched out than just extended. So does that mean every part of your life would be stretched like that? You'd be a teen until age 196.

Not all CSS does it. Just some of it. Not sure what the problem is exactly, probably has to do with table colours.

Maybe if the spoiler tables had their own class, there wouldn't be so many problems?

I have one, her name's Phoenix, and she pretty much sleeps all day. All my base are belong to her, apparently.

Bastards! Course if you could find the sensor, you could just stick some ice on it.

You want stupidity? They're building a Wal-Mart here, with a McDonalds in it. Guess what is RIGHT NEXT DOOR? Yep! McDonalds!

Hmm... About the food thing, though; all digestion essentially does is provide electrical energy. Perhaps we could be recharged electrically and not need to eat? That'd be cool.

What I meant about the games being destroyed was that they use an MBC1 memory controller, which seems to be very weak (I've had about 5 of them blow already), and a glitch such as this could end up burning it out.

BTW thanks for the name info. If only it had been several years earlier. (BTW, the move was 'TM44'; it did act like Selfdestruct but then the game crashed and erased the saved file.)

Hmm... Next time it happens, go into C:, have everything sorted by most recently modified, and go into the most recent folder. Keep doing that as you go through the folders and you should find whatever's taking up so much space. (If you haven't done much since, you might even be able to do it now.) Make sure you have hidden files turned on.

I think using a hub would be the same as using separate ports. They're generally all connected to one central controller, which just sends some data and says "this is for #26, this one's for 41, etc" (same idea as TCP). Up to 127 devices can run off one.

Possible, but I've never heard of a virus (or especially adware) that fills up all but 200MB. The entire HD, sure (hell I made one on the school computer once ) but not up to a certain point.

Windows:
NO$GMB.EXE, a game boy emulator, has an icon just fine. But when I try to change something's icon and select it, it tells me the file doesn't contain any? If I choose a different program, it's all fine.

Mozilla:
Search preferences keep changing. I always have it set to Google but occasionally it resets back to Netscape Search. If I just put text in the URL bar and hit enter, I get an error message, makes sense but still kinda annoying. (Rather make it search Google.) Instead I have to put it in and select 'Search Google' from the recent sites dropdown. But just now when I did that and accidentally hit Enter, it went to Netscape Search instead! Weirder still, when I checked the search page it was set to Ask Jeeves. I changed it back to Google, and now that shows up in the dropdown but pressing Enter still brings up Netscape Search. I'd like that to use Google as well, and stay that way!

Just because someone says that doesn't mean it's true (winamp 2.8 supposedly has a virus in it ), they could be BSing or even just plain wrong.

*Googles*

Not hearing any mention of viruses, but apparently it seems to have a lot less users than they/it claim, and they're running proxy servers that would need a connection way faster than they could have. So I wouldn't be entirely trusting of it...
