I know, but it was made so that ASM hackers wouldn't have to hardcode everything, which makes it much easier.

When I clicked the link, I got a blank page containing the text "PATCHEOF".

For those who are not too familiar with the IPS file format, PATCH means the beginning of the file and EOF means End Of File. In other words, the IPS doesn't contain a single byte of your hack! Have fun trying to download it anyway.

From the board FAQ which everybody are supposed to read:

DON'T:
4. Bump (post in) old or outdated threads.

(Yes, I know that I'm breaking rule 17. Sue me.)

HINT:
When it says ORIGINAL rom, choose a normal copy of SMW
When it says CHANGED rom, choose the hack.
Don't choose the same file twice, which you appearently did.

Cow: Are you sure that you:
1) Are using LIPS
2) Are patching a 512 kb large unmodified SMW rom

He didn't use BT. As far as I know, the animated hurt blocks in Block Tool was created so that people could make their own flame throwers like in TLC.

For those with hopes about new programs by me... Time to divide those hopes by around 10. I was working on one program and planning on one or two more... (I hinted about the WIP one in another thread, but everyone misunderstood it and spammed the thread to death.)

The bad news? Well, appearently, my computer blew up or something. Unless the data on it can be saved, I will lose all of my source code and such. That will mean:
1) Very long time until I can rebuild my libraries and work on the programs again
2) I will have to start from scratch on the program I was working on. That, combined with my loss of notes, is a painful thing...
3) My old sources will disappear, which means that I won't be able to update my old programs without rewriting them.

Also, if you want to contact me, do it through the PM system or on MSN. I haven't got AIM or ICQ on this computer.

Right... All of sudden, my XP computer won't start up. When I try, it gives me a "Startup/Start in safe mode/etc" menu. Whatever I choose, it reboots. There's no chance for me to check what's wrong, or if there has been any data loss. Also, my stupid recovery program won't work unless Windows can be started.

Can anyone guess what the problem is?

Oh, also... I've had problems with hibernate (sp?) mode. The computer sometimes turns on itself if I put it in that. It might be a problem with the electricity thingamajjik... Could the reboots be related to this?
